All around it was ok.

Good location but run down.

The hotel appears to be old and in need of refurbishment. There were no phones in the rooms, no vending, the bed head fell onto our daughter and the curtain was not installed correctly and it was possible to see into the room when they were closed. The room next door had very noisy occupants.

It is a good location near the beach, but this property is past its prime and no one is taking care of it. The rooms are dirty and in serious need of a renovation. The staff is unfriendly, unaccommodating, and clearly not happy to be there.

Assigned room parking would have made it better. Ash trays and more trash cans outside.

The staff was really friendly, but the room was not clean, there were still pieces of trash on the floor and behind furniture which im guessing was from previous tenants? There was a terrible fly infestation in the room, I killed 33 total. And the curtain just fell right off the wall at one point.

I have stayed here many times over the years, & it used to be a nice hotel, but this time will be my LAST! They do NOT do any extra cleaning for Covid despite what they may tell you. The room they gave us had poop all over the toilet, if housekeeping can't even clean that, it's hard to believe any Covid cleaning is taking place. Smell of marijuana, they stopped serving breakfast due to Covid, which there's no excuse for, even some other hotels offer a grab n go breakfast in a brown paper bag. They could at least do that much. They don't even have an alarm clock, God forbid someone touches it, and only 1 plug to charge your phone. I didn't stay on a Fri or Sat night because who could afford it, Their rates of $200 on Friday & Saturday nights are outrageous and you're better off getting a condo or beach house for that extreme price. It seems they've upped their prices while taking away basic amenities like breakfast. They've gotten too expensive and with the unsanitary conditions of no cleaning, I'll be renting a beach house next time. This hotel has gone downhill. We drove to Fairfield Inn in Fort Myers FL from Tybee and what a difference! Fairfield knows how to take care of their guests and Sandcastle could learn a lot from them. Oh and then there was the bed sheets. They don't even have a fitted sheet, our bed was just 2 top sheets, so the stupid sheet came halfway off the mattress each night. Never again!

This is a very low end place- the room smelled like marijuana, seemed like a very shady clientele. Pictures are very deceiving. Seemed like they tried to update the rooms with new laminate floors and a very poor paint job. Cancelled two nights out of the three nights booked, however I ended up paying more than half for the one night. Not sure how that worked out, it didn’t want to argue due to the fact I had to find new lodging at the last minute

Well I didn't see any bugs in the room and it's centrally located so that was a plus. But the floor was dirty, the bathroom was small, the toilet would probably be okay for a toddler or a dwarf. The handle fell off in the shower. The overall condition of the room wasn't good, very worn and outdated. There was no phone and TV remote didn't work. It would be okay as a discount room at <$50 but at over $100 per night way overpriced.

Nothing fancy, but a nice, affordable, clean room. Wanted to stop off and break up.yhe trip to my parents', and this was perfect. Older motel, but the rooms hsve been nicely redone.

Close to the beach! But need seriously improvement on parking not enough parking space for customers!

Location is great. Not directly on the beach but within walking distance to everything on the south side. Hotel itself is meh, mini fridge and microwave were rusted and shower curtain fell down because it was screwed and caulked to wall and tge room smells a little weird. But it was ok because od location.

very nice property, staff was a little rude with speaking but it’s all good

The room was dirty and it smelled. The sheets and pillow cases were dingy yellow. The bottom sheet that covers the box spring looked like it hadn’t been changed for years. The pictures on orbitz are not true.

excellent location. Friendly and efficient housekeeping staff.

It was close to beach but your view was the street out the maintenance of of t.another hotel. Also found roach in our room & bathroom door was punched in.

great locale, place is in bad shape, a/c was very noisy

Was a given a key to a dirty room, an hour and a half late check in, stopped up sink, no remote control, dirty bathroom. Front desk agent was polite!!!

Dear Farhang, Thank you for your honest review. We are sorry to hear that your experience was far from satisfactory. The conditions you have reported are not within our standards, and rest assured that these have been communicated with the management and will be taken care of.
