Noise from the freeway and from the construction on the road out front. Night desk agent couldn't find my reservation even though I had a copy of the confirmation and had Orbitz call him while I was standing there. Took 45 min to get checked in. Very thick accent - difficult to understand what he was saying. I was helping "translate" for another guest as they checked in. I requested a quiet room on the 2nd floor. That would have meant a room in the back away from the freeway and street. But I was given a room in the front, near the lobby. I appreciated the coupon to Denny's next door, and I used it. The room itself was wonderful - very modern with a coffee maker, microwave, mini fridge and air conditioner. The light around the mirror was a nice touch. Also, the showerhead was high on the wall - great for taller people. Also appreciated all the shelves in the shower. The morning desk agent found my reservation with no problem, and he honored the rate I got from Orbitz. That was very nice. Would stay again if my room is in the back where it's quiet.

Great staff, we told them it was our anniversary and they went ABOVE AND BEYOND for us with rose petals, a rose bouquet, AND chocolate covered strawberries! Our minds were blown. 10/10 would definitely recommend! Check in and check out was seamless. It's a smaller, intimate, hotel. Would definitely come back and stay again. Thank you guys Orange Grove Inn for the excellent customer service!
