My wife and I randomly picked budget in. The staff was very friendly. The room was up to date the internet worked perfect. We ask for a late check out and that wasn't a problem. The area was very convenient to restaurants. Next time we could in town for business we will stay there again. Excellent in my book

Excellent customer service. Very friendly staff, pleasant area close to the stadium. Room wasn't bad at all. No odor in room no problem with wifi everything was great with our stay. I will definitely stay there again.

We stayed here after an Alabama football game. It is an old school type hotel, but it served its purpose for one night. It was decently priced while all the others were tripled in price! It was a safer part of town than Skyland Blvd. area with lots of convenient places to grab some food. Strict policy of no pets. Mattress was thin and room needs an update. They did have flatscreens, a microwave and mini frig. It’s what you expect to find in a room that’s three times cheaper than all the other hotels.🙈

This is not a chain motel nor is it a 5 star hotel but it is clean with updated rooms and the staff was extremely friendly. It was definitely worth the price for comfortable lodging in a convenient location. They have a spill-over parking lot that is PERFECT for trucks and trailers and it is well lit. We did not use the television or WIFi at this hotel so I am no help there but the area has excellent cellular strength for AT&T and Verizon phones. There is a Pizza Hut next door and a Meat & Three Diner across the road. This hotel is located on the main road so there is easy access to any place local.

Don't be fooled by outside pictures! The inside of room was beyond belief. Curtain hanging half off rod allowing view into room from outside. TV would not turn off, had to unplug it. Also, the manager sent someone ahead of us with the cable box out of the lobby to put in the room. TV was very blurry. No outlet covers in the room. Half of lights burned out. No sink vanity, in fact it was a sink hanging on wall. Towel rack was on wall across room from bathroom. Repaired sheet rock unfinished or painted. Bed was horrible. Pillows about an inch thick. Shower was similar to what you might see in camp ground. No door on bathroom. Toilet wouldnt flush on first try. Took three tries to flush. WE DID NOT STAY!!!! We were given a full refund through Hotels.com.

First room smelled so bad we had to be moved, second room was missing a head board, the covers to the electrical sockets, 3rd room toilet leaked all over the floor, 1/2 the lights worked, holes in the ceiling filled in with toilet paper. If I had not already prepaid and no chance of a refund...then we would have slept in the car. DO NO STAY HERE! Oh yeah and the worse beds ever...

In all my travel, this is the first hotel I have ever refused to stay in. The room was very dirty (the carpet wasn't cleaned, the toilet lid was dirty, and I'm not going to guess what type of stains were on the chair). The non smoking room I booked smelled strongly like smoke. I booked through a travel site and called them right away as I booked the room through them. The agent said she would need to call the hotel which she did. The hotel refused to refund our booked 4 night stay and said they could put us in a different room. I went to the front desk and the woman questioned why I didn't go to her, told me I needed to, and wasn't either apologetic about the room or pleasant. She told me they could put me in another room and that, "people don't usually complain (or have a problem with) that room." When we got to the second room it was cleaner but smelled so strongly of mold and mildew (musty) that there was no way we could stay there. My son and I both have allergies and neither of us would have been able to breathe in the room. We left and went to look for another hotel. Fortunately, we found a nice clean hotel nearby. It was clear after speaking with the staff that they frequently have guests who book at Budget inn then go to them when they see the facilities. In fact, we were not the only people during our stay that left and went to them. I would never recommend this hotel and I hope this review helps someone else avoid the headache we went through. Unfortunately, the experience left me with several hundred dollars of unplanned expenses.

I will never stay at this hotel again. The owners wife was very unfriendly and her only focus was making money not the customer. I was charged almost $100.00 for a low end hotel. First the lady tried to put me in a smoking room which I protested. I was told there was no more rooms which was a lie. The room that I was finally given had ZERO Amenities Iron, hair dryer, or coffee maker.

Everytime I stayed there they put me in a smoking room.Only two times was I given a non-smoking room. They kept trying to give me the same room everytime I went there. When I told them I was getting bit by bed buds in room 125 they didn't believe me. They told me to never come there again after tonight so I got my refund. I told them to give me another room and they didn't want to. They mistreated me because of my situation and circumstances. I have not done anything to these people. I believe they have something against homeless people and transitional people. The housekeepers was always opening my door even with the do not disturb sign on there.

We stopped here because we couldn't find another address. The first room we looked at had a toilet seat hanging off, she had to come look at it to believe us. The second room was better but the heater ran 3 minutes on and one minute off all night and kept us awake. Bed was uncomfortable. Manager said all rooms were the same! Not friendly service, tv remote had to go into the mirror to work. I would not recommend, not worth $60....
