What a great little hotel, Immaculately clean and quite close to all the tourist attractions of Turin. The staff were always friendly and the breakfast was always good. Our room looked out over a courtyard and other peoples balconies, but that just seemed to add to the authentic Italian lifestyle.
This is a no-nonsense, no-frills, city-centre hotel that is well-situated. Staff are friendly and efficient. The area is cosmopolitan and what you'd expect next to the main railway station. It was clean, and warm. The bed was comfortable but the pillows are on the flat side. There is a kettle but just one sachet of Nescafe per person, no tea, no milk. The supplied cups are very thin plastic. Whilst we were not bothered, it's worth noting the mini bar is sparsely populated and there are no English language TV channels. WiFi is excellent. Towels were very good but the toiletries, when they were used up, were not replaced. As mentioned by other reviewers, it's worth taking ear plugs as the walls are thin and conversations both from within the hotel and across the courtyard do travel. Breakfast is a sufficient buffet although the hot items were luke-warm. Should you want to leave your luggage after you've checked out, it's left in the bar area behind reception and not locked away. Ultimately it's a good value hotel, conveniently situated but no-frills.
It is a nice hotel in Torino, this is the theerd one be in the hotel. Always is fresch and clean. The brakfast is good but I miss some more dark bread and the rest is good. The hotel is just close to the shoping and the railway station.
The hotel is very comfortable, the room was a good size. Very clean. Quite a good breakfast. Comfortable bed. Quite central being near Porta Nuova railway station. The room had a balcony. The shower was very strong with plenty of hot water.
The hotel is good value for money. Big enough room and bathroom and good breakfast choice However the area around the hotel, which is located near Porta Nuova train station is very dodgy A lot of men and women hanging outside with bottles of alcohol. Me and my partner felt very unsafe walking back to the hotel from the bar which was only 5 min walk One of our friends that went home later that night witnessed a fight
The hotel was good value but beware the immediate area surrounding this hotel is a ghetto. Dodgy looking people hanging around the hotel. My friend was staying in a hotel on the next road and he got mugged. Basic room but adequate for the price. Breakfast included was a bonus. Personally, I would never stay in this area again but the hotel is very convenient if you have a train to catch early.
Very nice and clean hotel. The bedroom are perfect for one or two people. Staff guys are adorable. If you need know something, they can give you all answers you need. Easy to find close train station and underground!
Hotel Urbani was a good, centrally located hotel in Torino & for the price it was a steal. The staff was helpful, spoke English, and the rooms were clean. It's not fancy by any means -- just a good, basic room to stay in during your trip to Torino.
Spacious and well decorated rooms, timeless design of the hotel. Professional service, very clean rooms and generous but slightly varied breakfasts. I recommend not only the service but also the private (good standard, great location).
Personell is friendly. That's what's positive about this hotel. I forgot: downtown is just two steps away while you can park your car upfront. Rooms at the fifth floor are hot and small. As if they rebuild the upper floor to make some extra money. I wrote this before breakfast, being afraid what I will encounter. I will correct this review if necessary and relevant.
