I liked the large confortable bed. I liked the good complete breakfast. I liked the view from the back-oriented room (The Alps). I liked the good wi-fi. I mention that near is a metro station which makes all destinations affordable.
The hotel is in an area with parking problems, but it has its own parking that fits vehicles cars that exceed the size of a Fiat 500 The gentlemen at the lobby welcomed me in perfect English. I got a room at a higg floor level, which is good for traffic noise but you should be patient: the elevator is slow. The room was big and just like the bathroom a bit outdated (e.g. limited amount of electrical sockets, no USB sockets,...
The hotel is in a good location, with restaurants within walking distance. It’s very close to the metro station, so the center of Turin is only 20 minutes away. There is secure underground parking on site but while we were there we parked for free in front of the hotel. Room was great, quite big for Holiday Inn standard. Our room had a big bed with a comfortable mattress. Although our room was facing to the busy road it was very quiet. Since we stayed there during winter the heating was on, which was too warm for us. We had to call reception to get it regulated which took very long. Staff friendly; breakfast of good quality; WIFI in the room good.
This property is not located in the center of the town, but that was fine for ur purposes since we have visited Turin twice before. We were staying here to dine at a two-star Michelin restaurant in the neighboring town of Rivoli, and the location was good for that dinner trip (by taxi). We reserved a "family room" and it had a god amount of space. The bath had plenty of space for toiletries, but a very tiny shower. The shower had no shelf for holding soap or shampoo, probably because there was a squeeze dispenser for a combination gel on the shower wall. We had a room on the second floor and I feared traffic noise would be a problem. The front desk said no other rooms of the type we booked were available on higher floors (it's a 7 story hotel). Alas, I was correct, the traffic noise was significant; we had to use ear plugs to sleep. Breakfast was basic, but OK< and the cost (we added breakfast to our rom rate during checkin) was quite reasonable. Self parking intake underground garage was easy and the cost (13 Euro) was reasonable as well.
3 days business in Italy and thought I would try this hotel, short cab ride from the Airport and €40. Is is a good location, with restaurants close by and a Metro station right out front too! So I would say a recent overhaul as the hotel lobby looked amazing! Staff polite and easy check in! Room was superb, I have to say... So clean today and fresh! With a great view and also an exercise bike too! Which I did not use! Safe, coffee making Good WiFi too. No ironing board so needed to call housekeeping - It arrived in 10 minutes! Very comfortable bed, great nights sleep... Highly recommend and I will stay again in 6 weeks, well worth it :-)
The hotel is very close to the Massaua metro station, so the centre of Turin is only 20 minutes and Euro 1.50 away, and there is secure underground parking on site. The neighbourhood has a lot of good value bars and restaurants within walking distance. The rooms are nothing special - ours had a stair walker in it for some reason, and the carpets in the corridors could do with better vacuuming. We were surprised to return to the hotel at 4pm and find the rooms still being serviced. The air con is a little hit and miss, and was in heating mode when we stayed, which meant we had to turn it off and open the window to cool down. The so-called fitness room / mini gym is tiny and has very, very limited equipment Breakfast in the cafe was a standard Holiday Inn buffett, marred by the fact that on the first morning both coffee machines were suffering problems. The kids loved the pancake machine, though, and the fresh fruit was tasty.
The Holiday Inn Turin is centrally located between downtown Turin and the automotive manufacturing plants of Grugliasco Italy. Out the front door and across the street is the subway that takes you all over Turin and several wonderful restaurants.
I was on a short business trip to Turin when I stayed at this place. The overall place was ok. Room was slightly bigger than what I have seen in other parts of Europe. Front desk staff was helpful, super easy check-in process. I was given 500 bonus points for being IHG gold customer. Breakfast spread was good with choice of continental and American breakfast, including a pancake machine! Didn't try food in the hotel as there was a kabab place right opposite to it where you can find decent (yet cheap) food. Not very close to city centre but close to metro and plenty of taxi options. Airport wasn't far either. Overall a good hotel to stay in Turin. On the down side, there was certainly an air conditioning issue as I couldn't get the temperature below 24 degrees, had to call front desk for them to reset it to something like 22 but it stayed at 20 which was borderline chilly... on a side note, I was given a handicap friendly room though I didn't ask for some reason my room also had a gym bike in even tough there is a separate gym in the hotel.
Was placed at this hotel as part of a Thomas Cook Sport package. The hotel is quite a distance from Turin city centre and is placed in what I would consider a residential district. The hotel was easy to find and about a 20m in drive from the airport. The hotel is a 1 min walk from the metro system so getting into the centre of Turin is very cheap and quick. The hotel is situated in the Massaua district and has plenty of bars and eateries around it. The hotel itself is nice, clean and modern. Restaurant offers good meals and continental breakfast. We caught the VE1 bus that takes you directly to the Juve stadium and returns often enough (but very packed!).
We stayed here for 2 nights. Best Holiday Inn we have ever stayed ! Beautiful Super King size beds. The suit was so roomy, comfortable and very clean. Hotel is in a perfect location. Away from noise and Metro train station is right opposite the hotel and only few stops away from this hotel. No hassle of parking which is a nightmare!! You don't even have to change anywhere and only 3 euro's pp one way! Breakfast was simple but plenty of choice and fresh orange juice was a bonus. I would definitely stay here again if I ever visit Turin again.
