We booked here for couple of nights for the new years eve and that was great! Rooms: was really big had enough spare space the bed was so comfy, the toilet was huge plus the big mirror plus points for all the girls over there lol. Over all the room was amazing except to the carpet, it caught my attention of these little tiny white color thing in the carpet as it seems its everywhere and found out its a tiny piece of white paper its kinda obvious as the carpet is a dark red color if i dont saw that then ill give 5 points over 5 for this room. Location: was great its in the center walking distance to train station and the famous shopping street is just beside the hotel, so many restaurants around and if youre planning to go to hop off hop on bus tour then this hotel is perfect as the pick up station for the bus is just less than a minute walk from the hotel. Food: the breakfast was great had so many varieties. The dinner during the new years eve was okay the food was tasty but its a kinda heavy and the service was quite fast um well i think its normal for italy but so we had to ask them to give us 10 minutes break before the next course. Over all i highly recommend this hotel.
This hotel is a mix of dated and modern. Surprisingly for any where these days is the fact that the reception area is what is dated, from entry - bar - dining room. I went out for dinner so can't tell you the quality, the menu however looked liked it had changed much from thr 80s. If breakfast was anything to go by then quality wouldn't have been great. Basic is what comes to mind. My room on the othř hand was a surprise. I had a ample sized room, which was clean with all the amenities required. The bathroom too was of a good standard. The fitness room was a disappointment, in fact shouldn't really be advertised as one. I got the impression i was the first person to enter for a long. Negatives aside, if you want a hotel by the train station, with a pleasant room you could do worse. Just don't hang around reception, not that you have much choice. The check in team are ssslllloooowwww.
I choose this hotel primarily because of the close proximity to the Railway station, as I was commuting from Milan and leaving again the next morning. From check-in to check-out, the whole visit was enjoyable. I arrived before normal check-in time as I had an appointment. and was able to leave my luggage with the front desk coordinator. My room was well appointed and beautifully maintained. Complimentary products, including tea and coffee and bathroom items were of a high quality. The included breakfast was plentiful and fresh with a wide range of both hot and cold dishes to choose from. The wait staff were attentive and replenished the dishes regularly. I would stay at this hotel again and am happy to recommend it.
This is a standard business hotel which lacks charm and character in the public areas. I'm going to start with the cons: The proudly advertised "Eataly" breakfast is a pure gimmick. There is nothing special about the breakfast, in fact it's bad for this category of hotel. You think it is impossible to have bad coffee in Italy, but then you have this breakfast coffee which must come from an automatic workplace style coffee machine. Next, terrible wi-fi, struggling to do basic internet functions, find myself switching off my wifi and going to cellular data just to look at Facebook. The shower: while the bathroom is nice, the shower is a trickle which means it takes you twice as long to shower and you don't enjoy it. Pros: The room is nice, spacious, contemporary decor. The hotel is absolutely clean and well located to the train station, 3 minute walk. If you can find another similar option within your budget, try that instead. Can't recommend if you're looking for charm and character, or a good shower, functioning wifi, and a solid breakfast. The Eataly gimmick really annoyed me.
A nice hotel with well designed & appointed rooms. The staff were polite and helpful and the setting (in the heart of Turin) is very convenient. The pricing is reasonable (even in the mini bar!). My only gripe was that reception could be busy at 'peak times' when people were checking in or out, so don't leave yourself rushing about! I would happily stay again if in the area.
This place suggests quality and affluence but we found the service average - especially when we had a terrible smell of smoke in the room. They weren't very interested.Apart from that the room was lovely. Breakfast was below the standard we would expect for a 4 start hotel.
This Hotel is a solid choice in Turin center, very close to the railway station and to Via Roma. This is a beautifull city we are glad we went and spent there 4 nights after a long tour of Italy. Don't miss the trip to Venaria castel and make sure you try the gianduiotti.
Turin was a pleasant surprise to my wife & I .This hotel was in a great location & we were only walking distance from a lot of nice shops & restaurants. The other areas of interest namely the Egyptian museum & the Mole were also close by.Staff were great, service good & breakfasts first class.
Biggest issue was the striking public transport workers that caused the Metro trains, buses and trams not to run. I wanted to get to Juventus Stadium for the game. Hotel staff did the impossible and managed to get a driver when all cabs and drivers seemed flat out. Really appreciated that. Hotel was nice too - decent rooms and nice service at the bar. Great location.
Enjoyed staying at this hotel. Beautiful breakfast room, loved the ceiling light and decor. Breakfast was a real treat plenty of choice lots of cake! Our room was spacious and clean. Just one thing, why do hotels leave out lots of goodies and then charge for them. I really do not like this practise. They should either stick them in the mini bar, where you expect to be charged or leave them free. The location is excellent, try the river walk, turn left out of the hotel and walk until you hit the river, a nice change from pounding the pavement .
