(my 1st attempt was nicer - im getting crosser as this website plays up). v good hotel . v friendly staff would stay again easy access to shopping centre, restaurants and everywhere else - nice room etc.
Outstanding service from Team 8, especially Catia that took time to explain the city and valuable input where to visit. I love the welcome cookie and also the room was a good size. The breakfast had decent selections, and overall I was very comfortable at this property.
Great accommodations! comfortable, clean and spacious room with all the amenities. Modern, chick and different. Wonderful staff and services, central location. Many restaurants close by, shopping mall and museum
Our room with a king size bed was spacious and comfortable with modern facilities. The bed and pillows at DoubleTree by Hilton are the "best" and this hotel lived up to our expectations. The dining facilities for breakfast and dinner were excellent. The staff were helpful and friendly. The hotel is conveniently located about 5-10 min walk from the Metro station.
Stayed at this hotel b/c it is located close to a conference venue. Had planned to move to the city center after the meeting, but the hotel was great and it was easy to get to the center via metro; 10-15 minutes. The DoubleTree is stylish, industrial chic with a welcoming staff and great service.
This is a lovely, modern hotel which was originally part of the historic Fiat factory. The famous oval test track on the roof remains and can be visited by asking for the key at the front desk. Framed photos and drawings of the factory decorate the halls. During our stay we learned the factory was converted and modernized by the famed architect Renzo Piano. Two of his better know works include the Pompidou Center in Paris and The Whitney Museum of American Art in New York City. Later in our trip, we coincidently met members of a Porsche Car Club who had arranged for a drive on the historic roof top track! Fun indeed! The history of the building and the proximity to the National Automobile Museum, which is in walking distance, were factors in our decision to book a room here. It is also an easy 1.5 hour drive from the Milan airport and so it was our first stop after an overnight flight from the US. Eataly is directly across the street and provides lots of choices for a sit down meal, take out meal or some excellent foodie shopping. There is also a Pam grocery store a few doors from the hotel in case you have forgotten something. Our room was fairly spacious and well laid out with comfortable bed, large window, a desk, wardrobe and an ample bathroom complete with large walk-in shower. Staff was helpful and professional and the breakfast included pastries, eggs, breads, fruit, yogurt, granola, waffles, sausages, coffee, tea and juices. Finding the car entrance was a little tricky, but not difficult once we asked for directions at the nearby NH Hotel. It is a shared lot with the Pam grocery store and the shopping mall and theater which takes up much of the old Fiat Factory building. We noticed the metro station across the parking lot in the distance. Too far for us, but not impossible if you are traveling light. Check the map, you are not close to the downtown area, so if this is your interest, this may not be the hotel for you. For us, it was the perfect one-night stop.
Bad experience as the facility is not able to meet the expected level of satisfaction. House keeping back up is worst. Breakfast menu doesn't change any item.. didn't change for even 6days of my stay. Fitness center is located on the 4th floor in the LOBBY, has only a set of dumbbells, and 2-3 treadmills, that's all.. don't expect much there too.
It was very hard to find the entrance of the hotel by car. When i succeeded there was hardly any parkingspace. Not a great start to my stay. Very friendly and efficiënt check-in. Cookies nice as always. Nice appointed room. Very quiet. Comfy bed. Adjacent is a shopping mall. Not worth a visit. Dark hallways. Shops closed. Across the street is Eataly - a foodmarket with Italian and local products. I found it disappointing. More like a touristtrap with high prices. Breakfast next morning was Continental Italian. So coffee was the best. Not many healthy items.
Located in the historical Lingotto building, the hotel has its direct access to 8gallery, and also offers complimentary access to the roof top gallery as well as the fiat lingotto rooftop test track. Me and my family have nice stay here
