Signed up for a king bed front desk. but received two queen beds. Ice only available by calling. Pool needed to be cleaned. Views were great and a nice setting. Golf course greens in good condition, trees and brush need to be trimmed over forced carries from the tee.

Wonderful to have a kitchen. Getting ready to remodel so not super clean, but still super nice off season experience.

Property was nice and having a casita type room was lovely too. The rooms were very spacious, but extra seating or a comfortable chair would have been nice. The table space was mostly taken up by the coffee maker so there were no surfaces to place things on. It was great having a microwave/fridge/toaster in the room. The bathroom was dated, but very clean. It would have been great to have chairs or some sort of seating outside to enjoy the views and watch the javelinas roam around. The restaurant was fantastic!!!! and the prices were very reasonable. It has great views of the golf course too.

We enjoyed the staff, but appliances and furniture were out of date. We had to move because the hot water heater was banging fiercely every time cold water replaced usage. Light bulbs were so dim we had to buy stronger wattage to enable us to read. Good service, but a remodel is definitely called for. The rug appeared dirty and frayed. One could get no hint of the magnificent textiles and colors of Arizona. Also, no convenient store anywhere near the facility.

Terrible WiFi. Stayed two nights and no maid service?! Had to pay extra for coffee for the in room coffee maker.

Room was clean, grounds immaculate, staff great. Room very out dated, walls paper thin, tv smaller than my cell phone. Over priced I thought, but well kept.

The location of Starpass Golf, the feeling of desert wildlife around you and the pool were fantastic. The comfort of the suite was not to standard although an attempt to give a native American style was appreciated. Complimentary room cleaning every fourth day? Not exactly my understanding of 4star suites.

The grounds are very beautiful, the rooms on the other hand are OLD and TIRED. Need a total redo. From the floors up. The pool also needs work. Staff could not be nicer. I would not stay again. Location is good , Highway down the road.

The hotel service is questionable and had to go to the lobby 3 times get new towels. My room was great and great facility to relax. Beautiful site.

It was very relaxing, the view was beautiful, staff was really nice. I would stay there again.

We went for a get-away for relaxation and some sun. The setting is beautiful. The sidewalks are great for walking and and hiking is within walking distance. Golfing is only for people who have lots of money. The course is very challenging and lovely. The dining is great and we loved the BBQ. They had a breakfast and we heard it was good but we did not use. They do not clean the rooms daily, but we do not care, but if that is important, check in to that. They did, however, bring us towels and coffee if we asked. The swimming pool is all lap lanes but children could use because is was not heavily utilized. I thought the hot tub was small. If someone was in it I felt I must wait til they left to get in. they had a very good workout gym next to the pool. I would have given a 5 star the room comfort except for the chairs. If you get the small casita and not the deluxe the chairs around the table are terrible. I could not sit in them and my husband got a back ache. we will get the deluxe casita the next time. They have no amenities at the front desk like coffee or food and they are all business. They also sell real-estate across the way from the desk. We will go back for sure will the adjustments listed.

The whole Starr Pass development looks like someone wanted to throw a big party, but nobody showed up. The Marriot resort is pretty, the Golf Suites are no better or worse than very average hotel rooms, and the golf course is empty because they charge high fees and the course is very hilly and difficult. We enjoyed a lot of golf, but not there. Location is far away from most of what is attractive about Tucson. Food at the restaurant is average at a very high price. Finally, the front desk couldn't even figure out their own phone system, which continued for a week to give us a blinking "message" signal, without any actual message. We recommend paying a lot less at a regular motel, or pay the same for a nicer place. You'll be happier, and that's what we'll do next time.

I've been back to Starr Pass for the past 6 years, and enjoyed it every year.

The room is very basic, below standard of 4 star hotel.

Though we called several times starting about 10 PM it took the hotel security until 2:30 AM to stop a party next door. The hotel staff indicated they had underage drinkers. The hotel staff offered us nothing for the lack of sleep or the inconvenience. Not a place I would recommend as this could be a frequent occurrence at this place due to its remoteness. Not happy at all with our stay.

The staff was amazing, the room was great, the view was awesome! I could go on and on!

Everything was good with the hotel after we got the reservation mixup fixed.

Great place to stay in Tucson, AZ. Staff were helpful and cheery. Room was comfortable, clean, and stylish. We also enjoyed the amenities each day; pool, jacuzzi, exercise room, tennis and basketball courts. We'll be back.

This place and deal was a blessing from above! Beautiful location, private, cozy, majestic and a home away from. Front desk person was friendly and very helpful. Hope to run into another great deal again.

The most outstanding traits about our stay at this resort was the location and the incredibly friendly and polite staff. The location is in the foothills of the Tucson Park, meaning that you will likely see lots of wildlife right outside your door. During our 4.5 day stay, we were greeted on our patio by many quail families, and a herd of peccary/javelina. We also saw deer, a roadrunner and a bobcat on the property. Upon our check-in, the staff was welcoming and friendly. The rooms were spacious and well furnished, though I would recommend the bedroom have a ceiling fan and a chair. Wireless internet access in the rooms would have made this stay perfect. However, there was only one ethernet cable in the bedroom. The kitchenette was well stocked with tools for any cooking need you might have for your stay and is very clean. The in room laundry was also a plus. The outside lap pool was fantastic! We really enjoyed our stay at this resort and would stay here again on our next trip to Tucson.
