A hotel with great facilities but sadly a little far from the centre. The staff were polite and helpful. Quinoa was served at breakfast which was a bonus to us. There is a lovely pool and alpacas grazing in the back garden!

Rooms, bed, TV channels, room safe, bathroom are all very good. This is the best hotel in Trujillo. Food in restaurant really good, nice bar also. Shuttle to and from airport which is really nice to have. Staff (especially Susanna) are all nice. My only problem with the hotel is the laundry service. For a hotel of this caliber there is NO dry cleaning available ??? I sent out a very nice shirt to hotel laundry for regular laundry (in Miami and when I travel it only goes out for dry clean). Shirt came back with Bleach Stains. I complained and they made good financially on the matter and also gave me a 5:00pm check out time, which is when their shuttle leaves for the airport. The hotel did right by me. Only other thing is the hotel is isolated by itself, except for a little bodega 100 yards away to buy water, etc., there are no restaurants or anything else nearby, you have to use a taxi. HOWEVER, DO NOT USE THE HOTEL TAXI's PROVIDED ! They are all old men who are half senile. I had a bad experience the first day with the hotel taxi's out front. The "elderly individual" (he has a dark grey VW Fox car), has no idea where to find even a very well known address. I had to use my ATT Roaming (at my cost) to open google maps, even then I had to tell this senile individual where he had to go, he could not understand the google map !!! Best bet, have the hotel call you a Taxi form the nearby taxi stand (Ejecutivo Taxi), you will not regret it. Cost to rent taxi by the hour is 20 Sol per hour (about $6.25 USD). Take my advice, DO NOT USE THE UNMARKED TAXIS SITTING OUT FRONT THE HOTEL PUSHES YOU TO TAKE, especially the one I just mentioned. Will I come back to this hotel my next trip to Trujillo ? ABSOLUTELY ! Oh, great pool, too bad the weather was cold.

The staff at Costa Del Sol was first class all around. After a booking mistake, I was only scheduled in the hotel for 1/2 of the nights I was planning. Mr. Eduardo helped get me sorted out even though they were completely booked. They were very accompanying with transportation, room service, and any special request I had.

The hotel is excellent. I have very little to remark, except that the rooms are far less modern than the public areas, which is a pity. Still, they are very comfortable with all necessary amenities and very clean. Breakfast is excellent. The hotel is a bit away from the historic centre of Trujillo so it is a good base if exploring the wider region but less convenient for Trujillo itself.

We spent 3 nights here and it was perfect. Being located out of town was ideal as we could relax without the noise and bustle of the city, but it was only a short (and cheap) taxi ride in. The standard of accommodation is very good. Big, well appointed rooms and a comfortable bed. We had a balcony and a view of the pool which was great. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. It was my girlfriend's birthday on the day we arrived and shortly after checking in there was a knock on the door and 2 staff members came in with a Birthday cake and sang Happy Birthday to her! A wonderful personal touch. Would highly recommend staying her whilst in Trujillo.

Anyone touring Peru and passing through Trujillo need to stay here! My family and I travel to Peru often and it is the only Hotel we stay at. The staff is extremely polite, friendly, and helpful. The kids love the pool, playground, and the Llamas roaming the property. There is a full spa with all amenities, not found at many hotels in the northern part of Peru. The food is always fresh and a variety of classic and authentic Peruvian food as well as an amazing breakfast buffet. I cannot express in words how thankful I am to all the staff for taking care of not only my family and I but all my extended family that has stayed at the hotel. They pull out the "red carpet" every time treating us like family. I want to say a special thank you to the general manager who has gone above and beyond to help me navigate the city and connect me with people who can help me with our business in Peru. Very honest trustworthy staff.

PROS: They have a nice Spa Center with nice attending ladies and is not crowded, perfect for couples. They have a small gym where you can decently work out. The pool is beautiful specially at night. The deluxe rooms are at walking distance from the pool and are peaceful and comfy. The food at the restaurant is superb. CONS: The hotel makes an effort but needs to get further into detail. 1. The restaurant waiters need urgent training. They attend as like they are making you a favor. Slow and inattentive. 2. The gym is small enough and they have THREE third-party personal trainers who only lift a finger if you pay them. I tried to get my body fat measured and they did it almost with an angry face. I asked about the prices and the lady was like busy checking her smartphone. Later I needed help with the machines and I made it obvious but Got NO HELP AT ALL. They should eliminate that concession 3. During the check-out, when I recommended checking the toilet as it requires like 2-3 flushes to really work the counter personnel simply said "Ok". No apologies. 4. Finally, I checked-in at 8am and was not offered any early check-in option. Was not expecting a free one but its always nice to feel someone cares about being tired and needing a shower. They said they would call me as soon as the room was available but that never happen.

This hotel is not exactly accessible anywhere without transport, so you need to make sure that you have a car to take you in and out. But it's close to all the major archeological sites and it's new - so the room is very comfortable, with new facilities. No complaints for the overall stay.

What a wonderful place to call home for the week! Everyone was friendly and helpful always with a smile! A big shout out goes to Neyla and Miguel in the bar for making me wonderful hot tea for my hoarse and sore throat. Not much English was spoken, but they knew what I needed and went above and beyond the call of duty. Thank you Wyndham Costa Del Sol!

I stayed at the hotel, along with about 50 other people, for a conference. It is very hard to fault the place. The food at the Paprika restaurant is excellent, the room and bed were comfortable, the shower was particularly good, and the pool and grounds were very well maintained. Even the five llamas were friendly! We were transported to and from Trujillo Airport punctually and without fuss. The staff are responsive and helpful and their English is good. The conference room that we used was also well-equipped and fairly modern. My only criticism is that the WiFi was sometimes painfully slow. If I find myself in the Trujillo area again, I would not hesitate to return.
