I stayed here for 8 nights as I got a bad cold driving from Chiclayo so I spent 3 days in bed with room service and extended my stay so I could see all the magnificent ruins and museums in this area. The service I received from the staff was amazing. They delivered honey and fresh lemons, real chicken soup and fresh lemonada to my room. The bathroom has a huge bathtub with lots of hot water so it was heavenly. And Armando cleaned my room every day and was so extra kind. The food in the hotel is very good (it's a real restaurant not like hotel food) and room service is so fast! I really enjoyed my stay here and will definitely stay here again. AND the location is wonderful. Being right in the plaza you hear all the marching bands, church bells and it's a lovely area to walk around. The Mercado Central is only 3 blocks away if you want fresh fruits. And it's a short block from Al Dente, the No. 1 rated restaurant in Trujillo!

I stayed here while I was attending a business meeting in Trujillo. The hotel is very nice. It's an old colonial style building. The rooms are nice. The bed was VERY comfortable. The water pressure is great, with lots of hot water (THE real test for me in a hotel). The location is ideal: You are right on the plaza. The breakfast buffet is very good, and the drinks and food in the bar are great. I especially want to commend ALISSON for her great service in the bar and in the restaurant. My stay here was outstanding due to the hotel's location, great rooms, excellent food/bar, and superb service by employees like ALISSON. I would not hesitate to book another room here at all. 100 POINTS :-)

I spent 3 nights here , very centrally located on the plaza. I had a single room which I found agreeable, the food in the restaurant was very good, there are lots of good eating places nearby. Ideal for visiting local sights such as Huaca de la Luna, Huanchaco and Chan Chan. Would stay here again and would recommend.

We stayed in Costa del Sol centro for my first time and we found and excellent place excellent location, employees very friendly and with an amazing service, we enjoyed the meals are very good taste, we liked the cabrito norteño and the tamal with cabrito, but all meal are excellent, I can say Juan Pablo from the restaurant area is an excellent person he gave us very good recommendations, attention and customer care always and fast, management should consider to congratulate him for the good reputation He is giving to the restaurant area and the Costa del Sol centro hotel The facility is excellent great environment, music is also very good idea, very well kept and maintained and it is smells great giving peace and relaxing, all employees are great, I fully recommend this please to stay and enjoy it.

I did stay in the Hotel for one night. Coming from Chiclayo I arrived late. The receptionist was a bit overworked because of a Group Check in. Finally I got my room and it was the tiniest room just enough for a single traveller with little luggage. Because I was hungry I first checked the Bar Area and was given a Welcome Drink. The restaurant was empty and because I did not see anybody I went to McDonalds for a Burger at the nearby Plaza. In the morning I had to go to the Airport very early and there was no breakfast due to the early timing. When I came down to the Lobby I found the Entrance Door locked and my Driver was waiting outside. Finally I found a Reception Lady and she was so sleepy that she almost collapsed when she opened the door.

The old building has been beautifully transformed with lovely lobby, bar, pool and restaurant. The rooms are fairly small but very well appointed. I was delighted with the hotel staff. And the location, wow!.

Set right on the main square of Trujillo, this hotel began its life many years ago as part of the government's tourist hotel chain. Today it is privately owned, and as of Dec. 2018 it is freshly refurbished thanks to a change in ownership that has not affected the quality of the service, the amenities, and the ambiance. Their breakfast is especially good with a great selection that includes local specialties such as the sweet tamal known as humita available on weekends--the kitchen knows what it is doing.

From the 17th to the 20th of May I stayed in this hotel right on the historic colonial center of Trujillo. With very friendly staff and a nice comfy big bed. The numbers: -Overall score 3.5-4**** Hotel -Price/Quality: 4**** of 5***** -Price: $$$1/2-$$$$ of $$$$$ -Quality: 4.5**** of 5 -Service at Reception: 5***** of 5 -Airport pickup service: There is one didn’t know about it so make sure to use it as my taxi cost 50Soles which is overpriced for the distance. -Service Overall: 4**** of 5 -Services Offered: 4**** -Wheelchair Accessible: 4**** (breakfast area is by stairs) There is no Uber in Trujillo thus make arrangements for pick up and get the hotel to recommend a good driver/taxi service that doesn’t rip you off. I stayed in room 329 on the 3rd floor (highest), the room is accessible via an elevator but stairs are faster. The view was on the inner courtyard and pool. The room was clean and looked somewhat small. Internet was not working well in the room, and went on and off, however in the bathroom I had a super good WiFi connection. There was no complementary water offered which I found a big minus for a claimed 4 Star Hotel and even praised 5 Star on Booking.com especially when 3 Star hotels offer a bottle every day. The Bed: big and I slept very well. The pillow was a bit too soft for my taste but okay. The Room: no chair but a sort of hooker under the the small desk, flatscreen and closed closet space. There was an AC which I use. It would switch off when the hotel card was taken out of the power plug. The Bathroom: on the first day the soap was missing and the shower gel too, these were added after the second day when the cleaners came; further more shampoo and conditioner too. The shower had good pressure and and needed time to warm up. The bath tub was very small and I’m only 1.70/5’7” so you can imagine it was small if I couldn’t fit in. The hotel offers a full breakfast, it had a coffee tea drinks section with cereals and yogurt selection in big flasks and some fruits. There was a hot section with scrambled eggs and sausages and local cheese and a plate with cold cuts. There were local and American breads freshly backed. For a 4 Star hotel I thought the breakfast could have been more elaborate. The location is good and convenient right at the Plaza Armas with the grand cathedral next door and other sightseeing attractions, such as many other churches and the palace as well. Other shops are all within walking distance. A supermarket is near by called Metro.

I initially booked for four nights and extended by 5 more days. This has been one of my best hotel experiences in Peru. . Extraordinary and friendly staff all over, wonderful beds, impeccably clean, excellent breakfast choices. I had a fabulous suite overlooking the main square and enjoyed every second of my experience, both in the hotel and exploring the famous archeological sites all around. Stole my heart.

We chose this hotel because it is in the city centre on an old building. The rooms and facilities are all reasonably good, including a swimming pool in the main courtyard. The cooking is good and there is a pleasant terrace overlooking the courtyard on which to eat. The staff are very helpful. It is difficult to fault at the price.
