Everything was fine except the toilet was loose..il stay again next trip
The shower was filthy..one partial roll of toilet paper and not even put in the proper holder..no soap or shampoo..water on bathroom floor from leaking toilet and bad smell..good thing I brought my own air freshener
I checked in to find the person at the counter, who is quite nice, did not speak a word of English and was handed the phone to speak to someone else. I was then taken to my room where the door was opened for me and then the person left and I was not given a key. When I asked about the key, they told me that I would be getting it later. I then went into the bathroom and it was filthy with mold in the shower. There were stains on the carpet and on the carpet and the couch-I didn't even check the bed. I looked at the door thinking I might be able to make this work-but there was daylight between the door frame and the outdoor world-as a single female business traveler this was not acceptable. I did book this room, as did get two stars on the Orbitz website-I'm not sure how that could possibly be. I do have photos-but I don't want to share them here. It is worth the drive to Albemarle to get a good nights sleep. I wish I could say better-I never leave bad reviews and always give people the benefit of the doubt, but this is not worth any benefit whatsoever. I called Orbitz right away and I was told that I would get a refund-however, this did not happen. I was also told that I would get a $25 credit voucher, it does not appear to of happened either. Overall, significantly disappointed.
Didn't end up staying there. Concerned for no key given to me when I checked in, and stains on couch. With no way to secure my room, and no key, went elsewhere.
