We enjoyed our stay at Historic Birch Lodge last month. We spent a quick night there on our way to Mackinac Island, it was an easy drive to the ferry the next morning. We enjoyed the bar, porch and lawn chairs. We loved the complimentary use of the Kayaks. Would stay again!

Historic, rustic, renovated old tb sanitorum with nice periodic decor. Outside needs painting. Beds very comfortable, rooms nice and clean. Hate the Michigan liquor laws where we could not enjoy our beverages of choice in the dining room or lobby. Stayed in our room to drink out beverages and played cards. %
