The bed was too soft and squeaky every time we move. It felt old and was very uncomfortable. The sink was almost plugged (slow to drain). AC/heat unit smells, heater was not working, we had a thin blanket and was cold at night. There were mold on the silicone in the shower so we did not use.

Smelled musty and old every where. Extremely run down. Dirty. Our shower curtain had mold on it. Beds were not comfortable. Windows wouldn’t open to air out the smell. Breakfast options included powdered eggs and fruit cocktail from a can.

This was absolutely the worst motel I've ever stayed in. Property is unkempt and in disrepair. Fire alarms sounding when checking in and staff didn't seem to care or explain why. Interior of building is as bad as the exterior, old and in disrepair. Our room was cleaned once in the six days we stayed, even after asking repeatedly for it to be cleaned. Website indicates daily housekeeping, as it should, staff under the impression it was every two days. Key cards stopped working every day and had to reset. And to top it off i believe two staff members were having intercourse in the pool. Unbelievable

Staff was very helpful in a less than ideal situation. This is an older motel. Our first room, the locks did not work after receiving multiple new keys we were locked out of our room with all our stuff in it (tough after a long travel day) and the A/C was very loud. We were moved to a renovated room, and the room was clean and comfortable. Neighbours were loud and smoking indoors throughout our stay. No on-site restaurant or lounge. Fine spot to overnight.

The new bathroom shower fixture was very good but the shower tub and bathroom were not. The enclosure had damage to the acrylic paneling. The tub did not drain and so you were left standing in water. The room Air conditioning/heating unit had no discernible labels to know how to set the temperature in the room. The phone in the room did not work properly with the indicator light (that the phone was connected) not on. The Wifi, though free, was intermittent, going on and off. Having some work to do...online...this was very disappointing. The bathroom light had a decorative fixture (ring), that fell off. Sound carried too much through the wall from the adjacent room (not untypical for hotels depending on age, but not helpful). The staff were polite and helpful, interacting with me in both French and English. This was good. The hotel seemed a 'cheap' one stop, overnight type of experience. In that regard it did provide 'shelter'. I did not visit the morning breakfast, so have no comment on this. The room was subpar compared to other Travel lodges I have stayed at, which are not, of course expected to be five star facilities. One other note, the hallways, the one time I traveled through them were dirty, perhaps not unexpected with the nature of the facility but disappointing. I am generally very flexible and 'forgiving' in terms of just having to have a good place to stay for a few nights. In the case of this facility or at least room and utility, it was not good.

We loved the King size bed. We couldn't use the door to go to the car outside. It wouldn't open. I felt if there was a fire it was unsafe and we wouldn't be able escape. We woul have burned to death. The remote for the TV did not work. We could not do anything with it. I had to unplug the TV to turn it off. I noticed the carpet in the hallways were badly stained everywhere.
