Excellent, comfortable stay in a beautiful hotel and lovely town. Perfect location right next to Trim Castle, with amazing castle views from the hotel (including some rooms). Delicious breakfast. Highly recommend, and will return!

Very acceptable 4* hotel

Stayed 1 night for business in an Exec room number 209. The room is large and nice, it's nothing special and starting to show it's age a little, you can tell it's an accountant designed room rather than an aesthetic one, but it's more than fine, no power points by the bed is very bad though. The hotel itself is all perfectly acceptable, clean but some fixtures and fittings showing their age with cracked tiles in the lobby. Staff were all ok, nothing out of the ordinary, just doing their jobs. The best thing, by far, was the breakfast - it was the best hotel breakfast I've had all year.

We had booked two nights at Trim Castle Hotel. There was an incident on the first evening which was very upsetting. We met with the manager Lucas the following morning who was extremely concerned and apologetic. In a matter of minutes he made us feel comfortable and handled the situation well. Andrew, Heather and Eve took care of us wonderfully in the restaurant. The staff serving in the breakfast room were also great. The view of the castle from the hotel in the evening with the lights is spectacular. Thank you Lucas!

Located within feet of Trim Castle and only yards away from the pubs of downtown Trim, the Trim Castle Hotel - with its excellent parking, huge, comfortable room, and superlative restaurant - is an ideal place to stay. I can envision my next trip to Ireland beginning at this time hotel.

Had a wonderful time, with spectacular views of the castle. Great easy access to the town, and the private balcony was an unexpected bonus. The staff were really excellent with the requests we made, and nothing that can be faulted.

Had a wonderful time in Trim and enjoyed our stay at the Trim Castle Hotel. It's so charming and right across the street from the historic castle. Within walking distance of shops and pubs. The staff was extremely pleasant and the people in the town were so friendly. Highly recommend the "Old Stand" pub. It's a local hangout and the locals were so much fun! The walls are thin, so I recommend earplugs if you’re a light sleeper.
