It is surrounded by the scenic mountains, and the building itself is very artistic. The room is good for a family with cookers. Breakfast is really nice, and the lady is very friendly. We drove in the wrong direction and she actually led us to the right way.
Amazing family owned hotel very near to the trail heads with good views of the mountains. Very comfortable rooms and accommodating owners. Would recommend without hesitation.
Even though we had to walk about 3 miles from the train station in Kalambaka (the hotel is located in the near by town of Kastraki), the view of the valley and the Meteora landscape as you get closer worth every step on the road. I got a very spacious and comfortable room (not common in Europe). The breakfast was OK, getting cookies and bread for the long walk to Meteora. I will come back with my wife (this time I went with my older son).
