We were attending the frontiers festival in April so the hotel was a perfect choice Only a 15 minute walk to the venue. The hotel is amazing and the decor is typical Italian .Beautiful .We were greeted by lovely staff and as we were a little early checking inthe receptionist asked if we'd like to sit outside in the sun and the waiter would bring us a drink .We were brought a few snacks to accompany our drink which was a nice touch . The room was lovely overlooking the courtyard with nice little toiletries in the bathroom .The breakfast was lovely .Plenty of choice. Bacon and eggs , pastries, cakes, yoghurt fruit and fresh orange juice . I would highly recommended this hotel and would definitely stay here again
Not much to say about this hotel during our mini Garda road trip. It was a one night stay enroute back to Milan. We were keen to find a local village about 45 mins from linate airport rather than have to go back into the hustle and bustle of milan and thank goodness we did. The hotel in style was stunning. Safe car parking, lovely courtyard before being greeted by staff who have genuine smiles and speak perfect English. The reception and internal areas of the hotel are stunning. What I dream of my dream italian house to be like if I was George Cloony or had millions of pounds. The room was stunning, spacious and opened out onto the terrace. Great aircon, fridge safe, good bathroom. Happy days. Restaurant we only had for breakfast and drinks in the evening. The bar man was lovely, helpful when providing me ice for an ice bucket for the room. Reasonable price beer and aperol and breakfast itself was very good. The dinner menu looks nice but we were keen to get out to find a local place to eat. Nice little place to explore for a day or two is thus Trezo Sull, can't remember the rest :) Enjoy :)
Sadly only stayed one night in this hotel. Sure to return. Ate in the La Cantina restaurant in house. Room was clean and pleasant with a good view over the red roofs of the town. Only problem was the air-conditioning...Too hot! The AC control is the standard Italian hotel Vimar unit..The Rubik's cube of controls.. Opened a window...And fell asleep. Early start so missed breakfast.
Stayed here for two nights on business and it was a lovely hotel. The architecture is beautiful and the night time lighting is utterly charming. The wine selection is understandingly high quality and the evening meal was very nice. The breakfast buffet selection is simple but perfectly adequate. My room was extremely comfortable and the bathroom was very well appointed. The decor is befitting of somewhere describing itself as a villa and the WiFi is reliable enough that you can work without interruption if needed. The rate of $82 including breakfast was very good value considering though that may have been negotiated by the company that was hosting my visit. I would love to go back.
we spent two nights in Bergamo at the Villa Appianni. This hotel is run & maintained by wonderfully professional & charming staff. We can recommend the Cyrus Suite. Breakfast is the highlight. Lunch & Dinner are also great. The reception staff also recommended us a great Pizzeria "Daniela" a few meters away from the hotel.
Friendly and efficient reception, with clean rooms, good amenities. great breakfast. Close to shops and a few restaurants. Close to pretty views and historical sights. Enjoyed my stay. The AC was a bit tricky to work the dials to small to read.
I stayed here for one night on a business trip and I was disappointed to have to leave. My room was lovely and spacious, with a HUGE and very comfortable bed. I had a small balcony overlooking the outdoor breakfast area and a very well sized bathroom. The staff were lovely and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. I had forgotten to pack a travel adaptor and they were more than happy to lend me one without asking for a deposit or anything like that which was nice. Free WiFi and a great choice at breakfast made this a wonderful place to stay. The hotel itself is beautiful too and very oldy worldy!
We stayed here on the final night of our 12 day holiday in Italy. The Hotel is very well situated for Milan Bergamo airport - it's a handy 20 minute drive away. We'd booked a family room and on arrival we were greeted by a very pleasant and friendly gentleman. He was very warm and friendly and welcoming. We were upgraded and allocated a lovely big room room of a double Bed and 2 single beds. Plenty of space and very roomy indeed. Lovely toiletries and we received robes and slippers also. We had dinner in the hotel and it was superb - honestly really good and tasty food - but served by a waiter who is amazing at his job. He was so friendly, knowledgeable and efficient - he made our evening. Can't say anything but good about this hotel. Don't know anything about the local village - but if you are travelling to or from Bergamo airport then this Hotel is a must.
Stayed for two nights, had a huge room next to the road but it was very good. The breakfast was basic but very good and the coffee was great. All the staff were very good and helpful, just a shame it rained so hard we couldn't have a look around. Would stay again.
Stayed here for 3 nights as a base to visit Milano and the Lago Iseo in June 2016. The hotel feels like an old Palazzo, both from the outside and when sitting in the inside courtyard, where breakfast is served. Also the rooms are large, with high ceilings. Check-in was quick and efficient, we had a room on the second floor (202). Air-conditioning worked very well, which at this time of the year was welcome. Beds comfortable and large, bathroom clean, small and friendly. Our room faced the front of the hotel, which in the evening meant that you could hear some of the late guests or locals – but the windows shut rather tight, so we did not feel disturbed. Of course there is the temptation to sit down yourself with a glass of wine or another drink, the sitting area is nice and on a clear night this is a wonderful end to the day. We did have diner and lunch here, and the kitchen lived up to the rest of the hotel. The risotto is fantastic, mixed salad a very generous portion, Tiramisu wonderful – all fresh and very good. Breakfast is buffet –style and served in a large, very light (open air) inner courtyard with plants on display. Large variety of choices, even little mini-quiches, fresh fruit salad and lots of other things you would not find in most hotels. The staff was very friendly when directing us how to best get to Milan (park-and-ride with the Metro M2 line, took us about an hour to get to the Milan Duomo, a cheap and time-efficient option), or for any other question. Wireless for free, apprantly there is a gym, and bikes for rent. We would stay here again without hesitation, we were extremely pleased with the hotel and really liked it. We payed €80 per night plus €20 for breakfast. Worth every penny.
