We have just spent 5 days at this hotel, the staff are what make this place truly amazing from Louisa on reception, who helped plan our stay, gave us so much advise to the loveliest matradee I have ever met, our stay in Venice will give us a life time of memories and it was made so special by Villa Braida, first class, a place I would return to ! My only suggestion would be to make the showers bigger, they are very small
Good place to stay The park is magnificent and has beautiful trees in a fresh country side estate The rooms are old fashioned but ok No international tv Chanel's But good wifi hot shower Nice breakfast to start the morning
Set in lovely grounds with ornate statues and a long drive, the hotel is fairly big with some lovely areas outside to sit and enjoy. The rooms aren't over-spacious, I think it is more suited to a shorter stay (3-4 days) it would be perfect, we stayed for a week and would've preferred a bit more room. The staff are wonderful and obliging, in this area (mogliano veneto) not too many people speak English but the staff have done their absolute utmost to take care of us! Breakfast was sufficient, continental style but good choice with some hot food on offer- egg and bacon. The rooms are spotless and regularly maintained although we couldn't work the TV! There is a mini bar and hairdryer in the room. The air con works well and excellent wifi. There is no pool. You can walk around the lovely grounds and there is a pond. I would advise if you are thinking of booking here to rent a car, as it is out in the countryside with no regular public transport, although you are about a ten minute drive from mogliano Veneto where you can catch a train into Venice for about €2. You are not far from Treviso which is a city and many shopping outlets are within a ten minute drive. This hotel is in a great location. Overall we really enjoyed our stay here, would highly recommend to others!
On arrival at this hotel, we were wowed by its beauty and stunning location. On entering the hotel, we were greeted by a receptionist who just about got off her phone. Proceeded to tell us that check in wasn't until 2pm so would have to entertain ourselves until then. We expalined that we had just arrived from the airport and could we leave our bags, she umlocked a room for us. She explained that there was nowhere for us to freshen up and that she was too busy to deal with our request to pay. We were also told that we would have to get taxis to the train station to get into venice. We found somewhere for lunch and went back to the hotel. This time, she didn't even look up from her phone, the room she had locked our bags in was open, with our bags on view. Luckily we had taken all valuables out with us. We then made the decision to find another hotel, we obviously weren't welcome here. The local village is stunning, not many places to eat and very romote, but ideal if you want somewhere quiet and plan on hiring a car. We discovered that there are 3 busues a day, that take you to Moglino station to get the train to the Venice. The last bus back to the hotel.is 5pm, resticting the time you get in Venice and then isolating you to the hotel, if you rely on public transport. The reception at this hotel is poor and unwelcoming and tarred the first fee hours of a much wanted break away
This is one of the most beautiful hotels I have ever stayed in. It is located on beautifully landscaped grounds with many statues adoring the area. There are 2 buildings with the main building being more than 200 years old. Despite the age, it is well maintained. The hot breakfast is delicious with bacon, other meats, cheeses, fruits, yogurt, juices and coffee. The hotel is located in a pastoral area with vineyards around. You need to take a taxi and train to get to the Grand Canal (approx. €20 for both taxi and train) and the front desk will happy to call a taxi for you. This is a wonderful, peaceful hotel with a very friendly and helpful staff. I highly recommend this hotel.
very good place to sleep, this hotel is located a little away from any town, in a beautiful park, so it is popular with weddings, rooms are big enough, breakfast offers a wide choice of very tasty dishes, hotel staff friendly and helpful, free parking
Very beautiful, old building which looks a bit like a little palace. Not so far to the station to Venice, but anyways, you need a a car if wanting to get to Venice. Interior is outstanding but I was dissapointed about the size of the room. Literally, half of the room was taken by double bed...
The hotel and especially the Garden, are like in old times ( you feel like you are in the kings court). They are very well kept, the rooms are big and clean, the Tv is small ( but you did not come to Venice to sit in the room and look at TV :) ) the food is good and the coffee is ....magnificent, especially the espresso and cappuccino. We stayed here for 2 nights in August 2015.
It was amazing view of garden, make you feel like a king for the night in Hotel. I will recommend if visit Italy for long time especially like to visit Venice or Verona (perfect location). It is about 5 min drive away from train station, you do not want to drive to Venice. Town of Mogliano Veneto is pretty lovely city. With price of hotel, I'll recommend.
Location is perfect in between Venice, Verona! Area is very beautiful. The grounds are well kept and best of all you are allowed to use it all for sports (TRX ect) Staff is always polite and smiling! There' a local vineyard 17min away with whom they have a cooperation, just ask in the reception!!
