This small budget friendly room is ideal to lay your head after exploring the iconic Maine coast. The room is recommended for 1 guest, but we do allow up to 2 people. Located on 2nd floor above property lobby with access via exterior staircase.
We have the luxury of being just feet from the bridge that leads to MDI and Acadia National Park but that also means that we are on the main artery that leads to the park. It gets busy with road traffic from Route 3 and air traffic from the small BHB airport. If you are a light sleeper and want to be deep in nature, this may not be the best spot for you. If you are looking for a relaxed, rustic vibe with what we consider to be the very best location to get to all things Acadia?! This IS your spot. Ask about earplugs or a white noise machine if you’re concerned about traffic noise.
Outdoor Amenities:
During warmer months the scenic grounds are vibrant with flower boxes, gardens, lush lawns, Adirondack chairs, and picnic tables shaded by umbrellas and mature trees. Play a game of cornhole, or gather with your group to roast marshmallows around the fire pit; the stars here are so bright at night!

The room was everything we needed, and then some! While our gallery room itself filled up very quickly with two people and our luggage, we did not feel cramped. The lobby of the main lodge had so many thoughtful touches, including board games, s'more kits, and fire-starting materials for the fire pit. Any time I had a question, someone got back to me within minutes with a helpful answer. Everything was clean, quiet, and inviting, and was the perfect distance from Acadia and Bar Harbor - a quick drive, but far enough away that the streets were quiet and not packed. The only tiny downside was the shower water smelled a little, so we didn't use it much beyond a quick rinse, but the water seemed to be clean. Would totally recommend, and would come back again!

This stay took us back to former road trips 50 years ago when we were kids. Liked the firepit but we did not use it.
Immaculate room with all the amenities a traveler could ask for. Perfect for one person or two people who really like each other.

Nice HQ for regional exploring
The room was small, but that was expected, and I was traveling solo. The bed was comfy, everything about the bathroom was fine. Communication for check-in, etc., was great.
The outside stairs for the rooms over the office might be a bit of a challenge for some folks.
We really enjoyed our stay. While we did not want to camp, we wanted a stay that was rustic, yet comfortable. We got that in choosing to stay at Isleview Cottages. The common area was well stocked with everything needed. We loved the communal fire pit , which attracted guests to share their stories and experiences about hikes in Acadia, restaurants and travel
Very pleasant, clean, homey feel room. I really appreciated sleeping in cotton rather than microfibre bedsheets. Management communicated quickly and was flexible, everything worked out great. I had a wonderful time in the area and staying at Ohana Inns was part of the experience. Thank you!
