This property is very old and dated. The bathroom tiles were loose/broken and you felt like you needed to wear shoes while walking on them. My wife would not even take a shower due to the condition of the bathroom. Bed was comfortable which was nice. Hallways are very narrow. New owners are very nice but have a long way to go to get the hotel updated.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Room was what was expected for the price.
Sooo thankful that even though we arrived after office closed, our keys were left as described, and we got a wonderful night of sleep. Nice place, away from all of the touristy stuff.

We booked this hotel because it was cheaper than hotels near Traverse City. Very bad choice. This hotel needs to be inspected and condemned. It was filthy, in extremely poor condition. We had a two night reservation and though I went through the travel sight I booked with,the manager refused to cancel our second night.When I told him why we wanted to cancel, he said the room was in perfect condition. The toilet seat broke when I used it in the middle of the night, spilling me on the floor! This place has serious problems. Better to spend a little more money than wonder about catching something from your choice of rooms.
The motel is older - pretty basic but extremely clean :o)
shower wont stay hot,the c breakfast was leass then desirable and the stairs and rooms werre not good for the amount of money spent there ,it was not a good place.
I do not think I have ever had a worse experience. The rate was rediculours. Walk in's paid less. We requested a first floor room because of disability, they would not comply, and did not have elevators.l Walk in's got a first floor room. [...]
I went there to ski at the local resorts. Room was a good price. The hotel is old and beat up in some ways but the rooms were clean and bug free. The microwave and frige are a nice touch on this level of room.
I enjoy my stay except for the electrial problems which was alittle annoying but over all a good place to stay
the stay at the hotel was good I just have a suggestion that each room have a recliner as some people have trouble breathing and can not lay flat but could sleep in a recliner or to just relax before going to bed thanks
