We did't need a beach or glitzy hotel. The breakfast was the usual modest one but fine. Only problem was what appeared to be thin walls between units. We could hear TVs and some talking but not loud fortunately. If there had been a loud group and especially one up late, it would have been quite unpleasant for us.

Clean, friendly staff - staff went beyond their way to accomodate us. The breakfast was really food, eggs, bagels, juices, bacon - great to start our sight seeing.

Hotel was clean and located close to downtown. Toured the wineries and spent the day at the beach. Sand dunes are close by as well.

the holiday inn express was centrally located to the casino and the downtown area. win/win. the staff was great: friendly and helpful. we loved the shops downtown and we enjoyed sampling the locally distilled vodka and whiskey. our highlight meal was at "the blue tractor"!!!! a march visit to traverse city was so relaxing, no tourist crush.

The hotel is clean, breakfast was good, staff is friendly. I would definitely stay here again! If you need a fridge, reserve it beforehand.

Our only complaint was that we requested a non smoking room and there was a faint odor of cigarette smoke in our room

We were in town for winery tours, and a bowling tournament. The hotel is a bit of a drive from Traverse City attractions, but is located in between Turtle Creek Casino and Traverse, if that's your thing. Hotel and room were clean. Wish there was a refrigerator in the room. Breakfast was good. Eggs, bacon, and the regular breakfast items. Staff was very friendly. Doubt there is a better value in Traverse area. We would definitely stay again.

Love this hotel, staff is great and the rooms very comfortable. Wish it was easier to find. Sign at the end of the drive is very hard to see and we arrived at night making it more difficult. Kids really enjoyed the pool, my daughter had called ahead and asked about a crib and sure enough it was all set up in the room when she arrived. Thank you all so much for all the personal touches.!!

I was in town for a bike race. No hassles on a busy weekend and even had offers from staff of rags to clean the bike after the race.

Rooms were under renovation, so the room we got had nice, new furnishings.. which was nice. But the hallways, lobby etc gave the appearance of being torn up and no one was cleaning up after. Also, could hear everything from the adjacent rooms. In fact, we had to call down to front desk to have the manager assist in quieting down our neighbors.

Our hotel stay was wonderful the rooms were very clean the staff was very helpful and friendly and the free breakfast was the best we have ever had you couldn't get it better anywhere else we will stay there again next year when we go to the Special Olympics Winter Games in 2013. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

The hotel staff was very nice and extremely helpful. The hotel was very pretty, there were a few cracked tiles in the bathroom and the beds could be a little more comfortable, but overall I found it to be a pleasant place.

Holiday Inn was clean and the staff were nice and accomodating. Walls were thin and it was a little noisy!! But over all a great place to stay.

clean, friendly, helpful, well-located, perfect!

We spent most of the days/evenings in Traverse City which right down the road from the Holiday Inn Express in Acme. We were only at the hotel to sleep, but it was nice for the time we spent there. It is 'prime' time season in Traverse City, so we were able to save a few dollars by staying in Acme.

the staff was very helpful, clean rooms and a decent good breakfast.

Nice place to stay. Decent pool for the kids. Breakfast in the morning and right on the main drag but far enough back that you didn't have to worry about traffic noise.

Courteous staff. Room is very clean. Continental breakfast

late check in went well. A bit noisy in the morning.

We went there for our 10 year aniversary and got a room with a jacuzzi tub. When we went to turn the jets on, a whole bunch of stuff shot out of the jets. Needless to say, we did not get to use the jacuzzi even though we paid extra for it!
