On our last day of an eight day stay at this resort we only have complimentary comments to make. We are a group of six, two children, one set of parents and one set of grandparents. The resort only has about fifteen bungalows, we had two adjacent ones- one sleeping two, the other 4. The bungalows are spacious with own bathrooms, air conditioning and are serviced every day. They were clean and nicely appointed. Breakfast was included in our room rate and was made to order each day. There was tea/coffee available all day in the dining room area. On our arrival we were welcomed by Martin who explained the routines to us , supplied both bungalows with kettles and hairdryers on request. The pool and surrounding area was well kept, the pool was pleasantly cool which we considered a real bonus after staying in a number of higher star rated places where the pools have been like tepid baths. There are a number of beds around the pool. One thing I must say is that the resort was pretty quiet whilst we were here, if it was full the pool would likely be crowded. As it was most of the time we were the only family in it. The resort is just off the Main Street so a variety of restaurants are in easy walking distance. The beach is a flat five to seven minutes walk away- beware of the rickety floating bridge you need to cross to get to a number of great little restaurants right on the beach! The kids thought it great, Nana was pretty nervous crossing!! Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and feel the resort is value for money, lives up to its promise and we can recommend it for families

Arrived an hour ago at 7pm. Receptionist did not speak English, we received no friendly welcoming, room was full of big ants, we saw a rat by the pool, the pool was closed, reception closes at 8pm so we could not keep our room key, whilst eating out.... The room itself is very nice, but even with a huge discount according to hotels.com, the 130 USD we payed for two nights is still waaayy too much for what you get!!! 30 USD / night will get you better accomodations on this island. We will find another place to continue our time in Koh Chang for sure.

Not going to be too unkind here, as this place is not bad, but it just isn't very good either. This isn't a place for couples - it just isn't very relaxing or romantic. It caters mainly for European families. The owner is a really nice man, but his staff could do with more training in the catering and customer service department: you get the impression that they're in a world of their own, just moving around the place like robots never really cosidering the actual requirements of the guests. They have difficulty dealing with the simplest of requests, and they cannot boil an egg properly, making the whole breakfast experience a rather depressing affair - not a good start to the day and I would recommend looking for an alternative. The bugalows are spacious and clean and the aircon works well, although a sofa instead of the little table and chairs would be a welcome addition. Wifi is good. Nice little pool, although there's very limited space for sun loungers. Didn't find the bar (if there is one) and so never really felt there was much reason to want to spend time at the place. There is no vibe or atmosphere here. Location is okay and only a few minutes from the amazing Khlong Prao beach. Nice clean place for families, but not for us.

Our stay was fantastic! MARTIN the owner is very hands on and looks after you like family! Easy to get to the beach and bars and restaurants nearby! The breakfast is basic but unlimited food that is included in the room rate! Even for 5 people! Great value for money!

Our three families of three stayed a week. Yes, Martin is very friendly and possibly too energetic for some, but his enthusiasm and help were welcomed by us! The units are clean, cleaned well, and the price was good for the quality and distance from the beach. Pool was very clean and lots of beds and clean towels! I would recommend this place to families looking for a quiet off street holiday at a GREAT beach!

We had a pleasant stay in the spacious rooms of Noren resort, however there a some points to discuss. There is cleaning every day, however the gecko poo in our closet was never cleaned and we did not had the idea the towels and bed-linnen were really refreshed (same stains couple of days). The price is reasonable (be aware breakfast is not included but you can have nice breakfast in restaurants nearby) in rainy season, however when the annoying owner told us the price in high season; we thought it is was really overpriced (3 times our rate) as there is some warm water but not really a hot shower and no water-boiler in the room (which one would expect for such a high price). Moreover, we thought the owner was really overwhelming, inappropriate and he only talked to one of us as if the other one did not exist. Really annoying. But the resort is near the beach and close to restaurants nearby which was great. When you can avoid the owner, it is a nice stay in an average bungalow near the beach.

Very nice bungalows with good housekeeping. Beautiful garden and good swimming pool. Many nice local restaurants and small shops nearby. Peaceful area, not one of the busiest places in Koh Chang. The resort is not on the beach but nearest beach isn't too far.

We stay 5 nights in Noren resort. When we arrive Mr. Martin Noren welcome us and explain everything to us and give map about Koh Chang. The location perfect and many good restaurant around can reach by walk. The swimming pool excellent. Good breakfast and room very nice. Like Mr. Martin said, you can ask him what ever and he will be happy to answer. Thank you Mr. Martin for the nice stay in your hotel. And we wish you the best for good business ;) Because your hotel very recommended for everybody especially very welcoming if you have family.

We have just had 6 nights at the noren resort. We are a family of 2 adults and 3 kids. The pool was great and the room was excellent.we looked forward to our breakfast everyday. The kids delighted everyday with the gorgeous towel creations the lovely lady that made up the rooms made. She even gave them a lesson on how to make them. Thank you Martin and your team for wonderful stay
