Amazing resort, great rooms with a beauty of bathroom. Also 2 verry big and nice swimming Pools (one of them is locaties next to the sea, also a good gym and sauna, close to the shopping stores and beach .I really enjoyed my time overhere.
Really enjoyed the hotel- stunning view ,quiet beach and lovely pool breakfast was huge and varied tended to eat out in the evening staff friendly -really relaxing trip all round went on a great boat trip - thai fun -would recommend it!
The location of the hotel is perfect - right at the side of the beach. We stayed in the beach side but unfortunately no beach view just looked over other buildings. The rooms were quite shabby and the entire hotel could do with money spent on it to bring it up to standard. We had read the reviews and knew that the internet was not very good so it was no surprise that access was sporadic. Although we found it a bit silly that you receive two internet access codes that last for a week that can only be used on one device. Most people have more than one device these days - ipad, phone, kindle, so my husband spent most of our holiday knocking each other off the internet. The internet did not recognise log-in details on ipads/iphones so you had to re-input the log-in credentials which was a bit of a pain. We only had breakfast in the hotel a couple of times as it finished at 10.00 and the times we did go down, the staff were clearing and putting things away well before 10.00 am. The restaurant, although advertised to be open until 2200 was never open! The room was adequate and was cleaned daily. We had no hot water in the taps so if we needed hot water in the sink we had to boil a kettle. A couple of days we only had cold water in the shower which was not acceptable and after complaining, the maintenance man attended and sorted it straight away. I applaud the hotel for sorting it out so quickly but it shouldn't really happen.. The hotel is in an excellent part of the resort, close to shops and bars and the beach. The hotel itself is just shabby and is definitely not a four star hotel.
Pool area is nice. Hill side rooms ok but noise from hall way is very disturbing. We had a hard time to sleep early nights and mornings due to people passing/talking outside the room. Room doors must be made of paper. I contacted staff regarding this but they could not offer any solution. 9 nights of bad sleeping was not what we expected and we are disappointed.
We stayed 4 nights at Kacha. Our first hour spent at the hotel was a battle to try to get the kind of room that we had pre-booked/requested for via Agoda and also paid for well in advance. The hotel is very average, but is marketed as a Luxury Resort. Certain front office staff were not very friendly.
The room was quite old and had an unpleasant odd smell. It was on the ground floor, the couple of wooden stairs to the pool were unstable and the balcony door locked poorly (was very easy to open it from outside). We asked to change but we were told that nothing else is available. The seaside pool area was nice but they only gave you one towel per day for free which is quite strange. Breakfast wasn't good either, very little variety and odd choices. Location was great, right next to the White Sand beach that had many restaurants.
worst place i have ever been. on arrival the staff told us we have to find our room our self. which took 20 minutes to find. resturant says its open from 7am-10pm. it was closed after breakfast. my dads room was horrible . the wooden fence on the balcony was rotten and my dad nearly fell through it. i asked them to change his room due to how dangerous it was. they said to wait 2 days and we will move him. after 2 days i asked again and they said no you can stay where you are. we paid 50,000 baht for the beach view rooms. they gave us rooms that are basically on the main road. all they care about is the massive russian community. i asked 1 man how much he paid for his beach view room. he said 15,000 baht for 1 week. where we got ripped of big time. all balcony floors are covered with algae. very slipy and dangerous. i ask them to clean it but 3 days later nothing done. the room i stayed in. there are massive cracks going up the main wall and all crumbling away. so very dangerous and the roof could of fell in on me at any time. i asked to be moved but they would not move me. all paint work is dirty. leaking marks all over my room. straight opposite my room they was building all day and did not care about my noise complaint rude and lazy staff. this place is a death trap. do not go here ever. all they care for is money and not your safety. i checked out today 2 days ahead of squedual. they would not give me my money back. this place needs to be knocked down. do not believe the photos on the website. they are from the first day this was built
Nice place to rest a little: we stayed in the building 2. Building 1 is right at the beach, building 2 is across the road and a little bit cheaper. Breakfast is in building 1 and just fine: Asian warm breakfast, English warm breakfast and continental as well. Both buildings have their own pool. Building 2 has no elevator. There's a door to the next room in your room: convenient for families, little less convenient for single travellers. Though you can lock it from both sides, it makes it a little less sound proof: you can hear what's going on in the next room.
