Great little property for staying in townsend for a couple days. No frills, great price and very near grocery stores and restaurants. The room was immaculate and well updated for the age of the structure. Its a nice step back into private entry style motels.

We really enjoyed our stay with Townsend Gateway Inn. The Staff was very helpful and parking was as easy as it can get. The only complaint was that we had "warm" water, not HOT. There could be a number of reasons for this.

The room was great. It was very clean. The lights and TV were on before we even went into the room. Gave it a welcoming sort of feel. The view outside the hotel was stunning! Surrounded by mountains. It was close to several gas stations and restaurants. The staff was super kind and even gave us goodie bags! Overall it was a great experience.

The staff was great. The rooms were clean. This is an older motel but it’s maintained really well. Although we didn’t bring a pet, the have 3 or 4 pet friendly rooms. The motel is really close to the entrance of the park and the are several places to eat near by. Also the rates are quite reasonable. We will definitely stay there again.
