Great place to stay

This cabin is perfect for our group to get away for the weekend. We bring our motorcycles to the mountains to ride and this cabin has the perfect parking for the trucks, trailer, and bikes. It’s very clean, well maintained and we love staying here. We’ll be back next year!

Great family cabin

We took our son and his family(wife and 2 girls) and the cabin was perfect for us. We stayed in the downstairs bedroom and his family had the whole upstairs with plenty of room and beds for everyone. Wonderful large deck with hot tub and plenty of seating and room for everyone. Online pictures and description are very accurate.

Peaceful, relaxing and roomy family cabin

We’ve been to a number of cabins in the Smoky Mountains and we really enjoyed our stay at this one. Townsend is so quiet, and we loved being close to Cades Cove plus some great restaurants that weren’t crowded. The upstairs was absolutely perfect for our kids to have their own space. The hot tub was awesome - the best one we’ve had at any cabin so far because it was so big and incredibly clean. Actually, the whole place was really clean. The king beds were very comfortable, as well as the two couches! The kitchen was huge and had what we needed - crockpot, pizza pan, egg pan, plenty of coffee filters. We loved the giant TV for watching football, plus the fireplace was great. And the owner was helpful; she responded to texts/calls quickly. I’d also add that getting to the cabin was very smooth. We’ve gone to cabins that are really scary to access haha! This one was great, right off the main road and not treacherous. Yes, there are cabins next to you and it’s not secluded but it FEELS secluded. We didn’t notice neighbors at all. (Honestly, the ONLY thing I wished for while there was some hooks for hanging towels. We brought swimming towels for the hot tub but never had anywhere to hang them to dry other than the outdoor deck. So the towels were really cold in December haha! Not a problem, just something random we noticed). We had a great time and will hopefully be back again!

Fall trip to the Smokies 2023

The property was well appointed clean and crisp. Perfect for a fall visit to Townsend. The cabin was equipped with everything we needed. Beds slept great, fireplace was awesome and the outside jacuzzi was beautiful with the night lights around the railing. We did not utilize the jacuzzi due to the cold weather but it was ready if we needed it. Alice promptly provide all checkin instructions prior to our arrival and made it a breeze to get settled. Checkout instructions were clearly posted and easy to follow. We had a great time and highly recommend this cabin. Will will try and book it for our next visit.

Wonderful cabin and hostess

The cabin is spacious, -- very nice master bedroom on the first floor and roomy second floor loft. The kitchen facilities were perfect and the main room has ample and comfortable seating and a perfect tv for watching football. The best was the communication with the owner / hostess. Prompt and quite friendly and efficient.

The easiest VRBO booking I've done!

We booked last minute to stay a few days in the mountains. Booking was easy, check in was easy, and the space was amazing! Everything was very clean and ready to go. The space worked perfect for us as my in laws stayed downstairs and my husband and the kids stayed upstairs in the loft. The upstairs was so neat how it was all open and had plenty of bed and closet space. The hot tub was perfect for evening time and the pool was a small walk and we had it to ourselves the whole trip. The cabin is just outside the city in Townsend and we fell in love with Wears Valley and all the shops and scenery there on our drives to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. We would absolutely rent here again!

Great Location, But

The hosts were very accommodating when our plans changed less than a month out and we had to shorten our booking by a day. It was easy to find and the location was perfect. Minimal noise, minimal neighbors. We brought two vehicles and didn’t have a problem with parking. The cabin itself was spacious. The first thing we noticed was that the first floor restroom was not attached to the bedroom. In order to access the first floor bathroom, you have to walk through the kitchen, living room, and dining room. That could be awkward. The bathroom door is directly across from the dining room table. Also potentially awkward. The bathroom itself is beautiful and the shower with the rain showerhead was great. We always had hot water and great water pressure. The toilet was very low so it could be difficult for someone who has hip or knee issues. After we explored everything we could on the first floor I started to wonder if I missed the laundry area. I saw there was a key that was labeled laundry. It did not open the one locked door on the main floor so I thought maybe the door was out on the deck. Nope. I found it after walking around the back of the house, down the steep driveway to the basement. Not easy for people with bad knees or when it is pouring down rain. We found evidence of mice on the 2nd floor. Hopefully they addressed it for future renters. Sheets and towels were clean and kitchen was well stocked with utensils. Hot tub was wonderful. The good outweighs the not-so-good.

Wonderful!!

So glad we picked this cabin in Townsend. We were planning a trip to Pigeon Gorge and Gatlinburg and seen online this cabin was only 20miles or so ( granted with being in the mountains it can take almost an hour to drive 20 miles) but that’s ok because the ride into Gatlinburg is beautiful. The cabin is in a quiet little town which was nice after dealing with the traffic and foot traffic in Gatlinburg it was nice to come back to a quiet little town. The caverns are nestled in just behind the cabin. A short 5 min drive and we were there. The pictures do not do this cabin justice. It was so much bigger than expected and with the bedrooms being upstairs the kids were able to be in the same room as us which was comforting, nobody got scared when it was time for bed. The cabin was clean and everything we needed was right there. As soon as we got back home the kids said they missed the cabin. I would definitely recommend this stay to anyone planning a trip to the smoky’s!!
