Town of Fremont Vacation Packages

Staff was very helpful - I needed a late checkout because of a race I'd completed and they were super kind. Hotel doesn't have a ton of frills but room was clean and recently renovated, there was always fresh coffee in the lobby, and the price was right. Chain restaurants nearby, including walkable.

Spent one night at the resort and frankly, that is all I need. The pros: When you could find a staff member, they were all very nice and helpful, and the food at the main dining hall was delicious. There is plenty to do as far as lawn games and archery available during the day, bowling, billiards, as well as bicycles to use. There is plenty of space so none of the areas were too crowded. The cons: The hotel was made famous in the 50's, and it seems like not much has changed since then. Every building is out dated, and some falling apart (bricks missing, rust, etc.) Its something that you can get past if you want to enjoy your stay. However, the website promises a list of amenities that are honestly just sad. The indoor 'heated' pool is cold and the jacuzzi does not work. There was mini golf advertised, but the course is currently taken apart sitting in the basketball court that is also falling apart. There is one small cafe open for lunch and the food wasn't terrible, but there was only one staff member working trying to serve everyone at once so there was a bit of a wait. There was a video arcade, but every game costs money to play - doesn't seem right when we're paying to stay at the resort already. The rooms themselves felt clean for the most part, but they are very VERY out dated. The bathrooms are big, but the showers are small with little water pressure. Overall we had a good time and the resort has potential, but there is A LOT of TLC needed before we go back.

It's an older property, so the rooms are smaller than what you would be used to in a hotel. However, there was plenty of hot water, it was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The sulfur smell from the water is not enticing, but that is about the only thing I can say negative about my stay. The staff we're friendly, pleasant and attentive. The menu was creative, beautifully served and the food was delicious and they pour a generous drink. When I was leaving in the morning, I did not have time for breakfast, but they packed me a coffee and three freshly baked muffins for the road! I didn't go through the wine menu, this time. I can update after my next stay.

The property was very clean and spacious. The bed was very comfy put i recommend bringing your own pillows. The kitchen definitely needs to be updated and maybe some more items provided as there werent any oven mits or any soap or sponges for dishes to be washed. The place definitely has thin walls and you can hear what goes on in the next room. Indoor pool should definitely get a heater as it was beyond freezing. Also bowling alley needed some work done but was fun reguardless. All in all it was a very lovely stay and will stay again but just needs some updating....
