Loved This Condo

This condo had everything we needed. The parking is a little quirky but it was nice to have covered parking. The host and co-host were very nice and responded quickly. Would stay again.

We loved this condo! It was on the 33rd floor and had amazing views of the city (and a little of Lake Ontario). There are 2 beds, one day bed, and one fold-out couch, so it's suitable for a family. Underground parking, laundry, pool, and gym. There is a Rabba 24h food market a few min walk away. The host was excellent and ensured there was laundry soap, toiletries, and snacks.

We arrived to our destination sooner than expected. We were just going to kill time by wandering around the area until check-in time but our host Jas responded quickly. He was able to accommodate an earlier check in time for us. He met us, showed us where to park, walked us to our room and showed us where things are and how things work. There’s also a heated pool with jacuzzi, spa and exercise room on the 4th floor which we took advantage of. The condo has a fantastic view from the 25th floor. It had all the comforts of home. My mom is 80 years old and has some mobility issues. The condo was spatious enough for 3 adults and 3 kids while cozy enough where my mom felt safe with everything being close by for her to hold on. A shower mat was provided for extra safety. We all slept comfortably on the memory foam beds. I was impressed by how clean this neighborhood was and by how convenient everything is-bus station, shopping center, grocery stores, coffee shops, banks, etc are within walking distance. When I found out the coffee machine wasn’t working, I just texted our host, and he brought another the next day. In the meantime, Starbucks and Tim Hortons is just around the corner. All in all, it was a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Location is great. Furniture ain’t.

Really nice host. Safe and secure location. Everything was clean but walls need paint and all cooking gear needs to be replaced. For such a Luxury price, they could spend $5K in paint and higher quality beds/couch (Costco, anyone?) and other furniture. Our backs will be grateful for a comfortable bed/couch back home. Oh, and make sure to ask where the building pool and workout room are located. There was no welcome package explaining anything other than a 4-line text with apartment's address and number, parking number, WiFi code. Then a text the night before reminding of checkout procedures (which were adequate). If location is only concern, this is your place!

Not Quite What We Expected

The host communicated very well before, during, and after our stay. The site and parking was a bit confusing but he went above and beyond to make the check-in process easy and smooth. The host was very friendly and added little touches to our stay - giving us chips and drinks for the few days we were there. The place was very clean and had some nice newer furniture. Unfortunately we didn't feel that the VRBO listing was accurate. The listing stated 3 bedrooms but it was only two with a very tiny day bed in the corner of the entryway. We booked it because it said 3 bedrooms but our son ended up having to sleep on the couch because the 3rd bed wasn't in a bedroom and was located right next to the front door. There were sections of walls that needed repaired or repainted. The bathroom wasn't really updated and had issues. The tubs looked rough and really worn, making them look dirty; same with the countertops and vanity cabinet doors in the bathroom. We really couldn't use the balcony because the green carpet was all rolled up. Overall, we did not feel this was a "luxury" place as described in the listing. Again everything felt clean, and the host was incredibly kind and communicative. He did go above and beyond to make us feel welcome. We just wish we knew about a few of these things ahead of time.

Overpriced and Poorly MaintainedAt CAD 1700 for 2 night, I expected a well maintained property. Unfortunately, that was not the case.Bathroom issues were the biggest problem. The tub showed significant peeling/flaking of the surface coating, not just cosmetic, but a sign of serious neglect. The drain didn’t work properly, leaving standing water. A beat up old plunger stored next to the toilet suggests drainage problems are ongoing and known to the host.The bathroom countertop backsplash had visible chipping and cracking where it meets the wall — again, deferred maintenance.Kitchen cabinets were dirty and scuffed, with white residue and marks across multiple doors and panels. Not what you’d expect at this price point.The door in Image showed duct tape on the hinge area, a temporary fix that should have been properly repaired.The water cooler cord was also left running loosely along the baseboard, which is a minor but telling detail about the overall attention to upkeep.Bottom line: This listing is priced at a premium but maintained at a budget level. The non-draining tub alone made the stay uncomfortable. I would not return or recommend at this price.

Tolle Wohnung in Mississauga

Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter sehr gut, Er kümmert sich sehr schnell um Anliegen. Die Wohnung ist gut gelegen und man kann mit dem Bus ins Centrum fahren. Das Hallenbad ist auch toll. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen und würden es weiterempfehlen
