The property was a good space for a quick city visit. It’s steps from Union Station, so it’s easy to get to via UP Express, GO, VIA, and TTC, which opens up the whole city for travel. It’s also a couple blocks from Front Street and the nightlife there, or a shorter walk up to King for more options. And, it’s between Maple Leaf Square and Roger’s Centre so entertainment is easily accessed. On site laundry, a decent view of Tommy Thompson Park over the Gardiner, and easy access to the building made it a great choice!

This property is in a perfect location and easily walkable to the Scotia Bank Arena and the Rogers Place Centre. The Condo Building was secure and access to the Condo was easily. The Condo itself was compact but enough room to move around and it had everything needed for our stay. The View from the Balcony was enjoyable. The Condition of the Unit however showed an obvious lack of Maintenance as it looked well worn from many previous visits. Upon arriving at the Condo there were issues with this Internet not working and the Cloths Dryer not functioning properly as well. I contacted the host immediately as well as 3 follow up times as we required the Internet for our stay. The host did not respond until we were checking out of the property. I'm very disappointed in this. Also, after my return home it had taken multiple emails with the host to get my Damage Deposit back as they kept insisting the sent it back to me, but did not until 20 days later and only after going back to them multiple times asking them to return it. Be aware of this as it felt like this was something that they do to keep your Deposit. Over-all, I was pleased with the property but disappointed with dealing with the host.

I thought the place was fine until I got charged the security deposit for "breaking the tv" which I never used or got close to. I looked at other reviews on different platforms and it seems it's something they are doing to get more money out of their customer. Don't get fooled, GlobalStay is scamming people under the guise of their relatively low prices. I've been travelling a lot and it's the first time it ever happen to me. Stay away from GlobalStay.

Multiple disappointments

We booked this space for a spot in Toronto as a family. Let's be clear, it is a space and definitely not a hotel. That is made abundantly clear when you are in the building as there are signs all over the place mentioning that this is a condo and short term visitors need to respect that. The location was great for the trip, with it close to most of the things we were planning on doing and to Union station for any train trips. The space was also large enough for the four of us with seperate sleeping spots for the kids and a large balcony for late night desserts. Those were the highlights though. On the down side though, there were a few. First the space was beat up. There was plenty of wall damage and throughout the space, the patio door was missing the handle and lock, the window in the bedroom was broken, and the light in the bedroom was not working either. There was a room control touchpad at the front which was inoperable. The small couch that turned into a bed for our son had "seen some stuff" and felt worn in and lumpy. While marketed as a futon/bed it is basically a recliner chair. Luckily our son is small and was able to find a sleeping position but this would not be an option for a teen or an adult. The elevators were continually out of service or over capacity. There was signage for this limiting the number of passengers and luggage to 10 people (which was under the manufactured limited of 16) due to the fact that it caused the elevators to break and require mainte

Management charging replacement damages from deposit for soiled duvet bedding not even used by us. Management not even responding to our email rebuttal of charges. 'Unwashable stains' they claim we made were from a previous guest or the cleaners. Likely charging each guest. Watchout! Scam by management. Laundry from previous occupants still in clothes dryer and noisy dryer on behind closed cupboard doors heating inside of cupboard unsafely. Bath/shower had unremoved hair in it from previous occupants. Tea and coffee amenities were dirty and not trusted to use. Dirty expired coffee jar in cupboard. No attention to detail by management or cleaners.

Awful Company

GLOBALSTAY are awful. My bedroom had bed bugs. I told them about it Tuesday morning and I'm leaving this afternoon Friday and they've still done nothing about it. Robotic responses and I had to try to fix it through the building workers by myself. I had to sleep on the sofa bed the rest of my days and avoid the bed bug infested bedroom which luckily did not spread. Had to deal with bed bug bites and am leaving Toronto with them. Terrible company. Also took so long to reply to me asking for a late checkout. The only positives are great location, nice gym and building but obviously my unit was not cared for.
