Front entrance didn’t work. Staff was rude. Very noisy and dirty
The bathroom was not cleaned , my son lifted the toilet seat to find old urine on it . The front desk agent was rude , I accidentally clicked ok for purchase and called to state the issue , she placed me on hold ,when I called back she seemed annoyed and refused to give me her name .
The place is a dump. Completely tired with shabby rooms and thin walls. Not overly clean and somewhat chaotic with guests loudly congregating in hallways. Stay away as the choices near Toronto’s airport are abundant
In reverse ... there was nothing I didn't like at this property. What I liked: the security guards who made their presence known, the helpfulness of the staff, the convenience store in the lobby, the prompt shuttle service. If I'm ever back in Toronto and I need an airport hotel, I'm definitely staying at Crown Plaza.
The Crowne Plaza Hotel is very close to the airport and was close to the wedding venue that we had to go to. The rooms are comfortable, but seemed basic - there was only one set of shampoo, conditioner, lotion and soap and two of us in the room. I had an emergency with my outfit and asked for a scissor and was told they could not provide one. The area where it is located is pretty remote in terms of convenience stores, etc. Also, we stayed 3 nights and housekeeping didn't come to clean! We were surprised by that and always got back to late to inquire about it. Seems geared towards airline flight crews. Restaurant had surprisingly good food.
