I cannot recommend this property highly enough! It's a secluded retreat nestled in the jungle, just steps away from what felt like our own private beach. We stayed in the air-conditioned couple's suite, featuring a cozy queen bed, a modern and fully stocked kitchen, and a bathroom with a spacious vanity and shower. The suite also has a small patio near the front door, equipped with two loungers and a brand-new gas BBQ—perfect for grilling evening meals. (Tip: Make sure to stock up on groceries in San Antonio or Mariato, as Torio does not have a market.) For a small fee, we enjoyed breakfast each morning with our wonderful hosts, Lyne and Michael Heim. These meals often turned into lively conversations that felt like solving the world's problems—we genuinely consider them great friends now. Although we only stayed for three days, we wished we had known how exceptional their place is, as we would have loved a longer stay. Make sure to message the hosts prior to arrival, as I forgot, and their location can be tricky to find.
