We have stayed 4x here and it is very convenient to main road, dog friendly, easy parking. First experience good with tapas/ bar/ dinner. 2nd just had tapas in bar. 3rd - restaurant closed but dinner served in bar, post covid seemed staffing problems, very slow service. Arrived last night after very long drive. No food. Receptionist took pity on us and made a sandwich. It was Epiphany but it’s still a hotel so the basics should be available. Won’t stay again- it’s a beautiful space with great decor but the rooms and bathroom need refurbishing.

Pleasant and clean.

Hotel is very nice, the bar area has a nice ambiance and menu. Very spacious and nicely decorated hotel and well laid-out. Room was very spacious. There was a hum of some sort of motor that we could hear, and the heating wasn't the best, twin beds aren't idea instead of a double. We would stay again.

This is a dog friendly hotel that we stopped at en route to and from Portugal. Dogs are allowed in the grounds and there is extensive public ground to the rear to walk them there too, but only in your room. Food is excellent in the restaurant and the cafe and reasonably priced. Beds are really comfy. Petrol station across the motorway is convenient as this is just off the motorway. The receptionist on our first visit was super friendly pointing out the welcome champagne and information. The receptionist on our second couldn't be bothered to replace the empty bottle when I asked and she was rude to a customer in front of me who paid by cash as it did not suit her. When I paid the bill on leaving because I chose £'s not euros on the credit card machine was extremely rude, raising her voice that her director had said credit cards can only be paid in euros - despite the fact that they still get paid in euros by the bank. She then reimbursed me the wrong amount and would not change it telling me to contact my bank. If they want paid in euros then say to UK visitors not to elect £'s if offered. She was just as rude to the UK guests behind me who also does the same. Other than that, I would recommend this hotel.

A great choice for a stopover or more if you wish.

This was a stop off for one night on our way back to the ferry port at Santander, but I wish we were staying longer to be honest. The location was brilliant, right next to the autovia, had Tesla Superchargers on site and catered for dogs. Ok, the front of the hotel is a little noisy from the road but this is not at all evident inside the hotel or at the rear and is very convenient for getting back to your journey. The room was comfortable, spacious and well laid out. It had a terraced balcony overlooking the large gardens, which were quite densely populated with pine trees and not at all noisy; nice sunset view too. The pool looked lovely and I'm sure would be great in the summer months; they also have two padel tennis courts. The restaurant, bar and dining terraces are all very well laid out and well cared for and the food we took, on the terrace with the dogs, was of a really high standard and the service was similarly so. The inside of the hotel is actually very plush and designed with contemporary taste, plenty of areas to take coffee or to continue drinking if the bar isn't your thing. So, all in all, a great stopover or more if you wish.

Tordesilla Gem

My husband says this was run by the friendliest hotel staff ever. I was impressed by the welcome glass of fizz as well as the friendliness. There was plenty of parking, access ramps and some stair lifts. Will definitely try to stay here again on the way to the ferry.

Unusual hotel next to main road North of Tordesillos. Quiet as given room overlooking garden. Complementary Cava or water on arrival. Great after long drive from Algarve en route to ferry in Santander. Excellent dinner in restaurant. Good size room for us and dogs.

Road trip.

Used this hotel as a stop off point between Santander and Portugal. Suited us perfectly. Room was clean and the bed was really comfy. We had a meal and it was pleasant. Therefore, if your looking for a main road Hotel, then this will not disappoint.

Good Overnight Stop-over

The hotel is ideally situated adjacent to A62 motorway. A covenient break point between ferry ports and Southern Spain. We have used it twice in the past en route to and from the Algarve. Restaurant is very good and caters well for food allergies. Excellent evening meals and typical but good continental breakfasts. Friendly and helpful staff.
