Old hotel, could be more charming if staff were slightly more friendly. Rooms are getting old but good that it has wooden floor or do not so old smell. Otherwise interesting castle type hotel, easy to park, as outside the city walls.

Very nice hotel with walking distance to old town. Clean rooms. Friendly staff. Very good restaurant. Check out the small café around the corner. Great place with friendly people to have a cup of coffee.

Would've chosen a place inside the old city if I went back and did it again. Still a comfortable, safe, and supportive place to spend the night away from the old city (less than a five minute walk from the city walls, but seems to lose that charm). Very affordable and worth the value though.

The staff was excellent in answering all of our questions and gave us great ideas of where to eat and what the best way was to get into the walled city.

Showed up and they made it really easy to check in and get situated. Was a bit of a hike (15-30 mins) from the train station, but it was really close to the bus station. The hotel was very nice, but in a decidedly normal way. Nothing was wrong, but nothing was special. At night we walked into the historical area and real center of the city which was quite a hike uphill but well worth it. This would probably be perfect for people looking for a quiet hotel and either planning on driving/taking cabs or ready to walk. In retrospect, something situated more in the historical district would have been a little more convenient.
