Water stained ceiling made room look dirty and run down

Just looking for a place along the route to crash for the evening. Price was in range and never stayed at a Knights Inn prior so gave it a shot. Check in was quick. Staff was friendly, and the hotel is convenient to Interstate. Relatively quiet except for occasional interstate noise or trucks pulling in and out, just okay. Room was a little shabby but okay for sleep.

The hotel was right off the highway, but tucked behind a few restaurants. It didn't have proper signage to direct us to it, even at the point of entrance, which was very small & looked like it only went to a Denney's. We drove around a few times to figure out how to get to it. The front desk person couldn't answer any of my questions about military discounts, shampoo in rooms, etc. Her pat, uninformed answer was "They don't tell us anything here. You have to call." I gave up on asking anything & went to the room. There wasn't any literature or info in the rooms either. The bed was made, but the sheets were worn through & had make up stains on them. The bathroom counter was clean, but the floors were filthy. It looked like no one had cleaned around the walls & floors for months in the entire room. In the bathroom area, there was only a bar of soap by the sink & in the shower. No shampoo or anything else was provided. There were a few towels, but not a full amount expected. Walking on the floors was like walking in a mobile home. It felt as though we might break through & everything else in the room shook when we walked. We had driven all day from the eastern coast of Maryland to get to Toledo & were very tired. Had it not been so late & had we not been so tired, we would have tried to find another hotel. We would not return to this hotel.

Bathroom could use a good cleaning. Towels have seen better days. There was a small fridge & microwave - no hair dryer. Across the parking lot from a diner.

I worked at a near-by hospital during the night shift. Snow was 2 inches when leaving the hospital. I wanted a close motel at a great bargain to stay at, since I was scheduled to be on-call that night. On-call staff should be 30 min. away from the hospital. the snow storm was to be at full force by 4-5 pm. was able to find this motel at a great price at a great location for a single, non-smoking room.

Thought i was booking Knights Inn toledo west,my mistake. These 2 are only about 10 min apart, but miles apart in terms of rooms. Both are rated 2 stars, however toledo west is far superior in rooms. Will not make that mistake again.

This is a quite place, if you leave your card key, they will make a new one. only negative are the burn marks on the bedding an carpets

Easy check-in, I like the one story buildings, no going up stairs. Microwave, refrigerator, TV, limited cable, air conditioned room. Room I had, at one time had smokers do to the burn marks on bedding an on bath tub. that was the only negative worth noting. This is the secounded time I've stayed here. If you want a room that new this is not for you, but the price is right.

My daughter & I had driven 5 hours and this was the rest stop we had picked since it was close to the turnpike; however, both her and I agreed, we would have been better off sleeping in the car, or in a tent. Beds were hard, there was laundry left from previous guests. `We didn't arrive until 2am, however the manager of housekeeping pounded on our door @ 11am checkout time. I understand they have a job to do. but pounding? There was a phone in the room, they could've called. We were out of there without hesitation, once we were rudely awoken. Yes, I should have asked for a later check out. My bad.....

If I could give this a no star, I would! It was awful!!!! Husband checked-in and went to the first room... had asked for non-smoking and it was a smoking room. Went to the second room, and it was not any better. Said it was non-smoking but it had been a smoking room and by a heavy smoker or 12! It was dirty, the beds were half way made... my 5 year old would not even use the toilet! After 5 mins and not unpacking the car, we checked-out. After several phone calls, we finally got our money back. WORST HOTEL EVER!!!!

I was at this hotel for one night as a stop for my cross country drive. The price was very reasonable. The room was comfortable. Tv was small but had full list of cable channels. The staff was friendly and the check in/out process was very easy. Shower worked very well; and so did all the other appliances provided. Would stay here again!

The hotel staff was very nice. The check-in/out process was very quick and easy. The room was a nice size. It was cold when I first walked in but the heater worked very well. Shower worked great. TV was small but worked fine and had wide range of cable channels available. There was a Denny's right next door. Gas station next door and across the street. McDonalds and Wendy's down the street. I would definitely stay again.

We were so disappointed, we realized it is not a top rate hotel but we were disgusted by the room. They did not have a king size sheet for the bed so only half of the bed had a sheet. It was inexcusable to not have a sheet on half the bed. There were nasty hairs all over the sink and dirt also on the sink. The tub was so nasty we would not even consider taking a shower.

When I walked in, I said who I was an that I had a reservation, the one at the desk confirm it an hand me the electric keys. I then asked if I had to fill anything else out, his reply was no. I was happy, every thing was OK. The motel has three rolls of one story long buildings. I liked this since I didn't have up climb steps . Inside the room had two beds, 19in color TV, basic cable microwave, an little refig. Room was clean daily. If there is anything which could be improved would be more information on shopping in area. Gas stations with in a block, eating places with in a block.

Very quiet, easy access to I-75.Good peaceful setting. Not a place for someone looking for more than just a good place to stay. Virtually nothing around there aside from Denny's, McDonald's and gas station/convenience store, which were all I needed.

the room was ok. it was what i needed.the room came with a new fridg-frez and looked to have been revamped.i have stayed in nicer hotels but i have been subjected to much worse.i work at night and sleep in the day was not bad for 2 days.

When I arrived the room key was ready. I proceeded to the room and when I walked in I was hit with a pungent smell of old cigarette smell. It took my breath away. I went back and explained that I had ordered an non-smoking room. He look and sure enough I did. I went to the new room which was heavenly perfumed I found old cigarette burns on the bath tub and cigarette burns on the bed spread. This room was also used as a smoking room. The sheet also looked wore out. The air conditioner also was not working well as it would shut off allowing the room to get hot to cold. I was not happy with this hotel/motel.I will not use again when I travel to Toledo again. There are better motels there.

LIKED COFFEE MACHINE

THE ROOM WE GOT WAS FOR HANDICAPPED AND THE ROOM WAS NOT CLEAN THAT WAS FOR BOTH ROOM. THE ROOMS NEEDED TO BE VACUUM AND ALSO CLEAN JUST BECAUSE THEY DON'T USE THE ROOM THAT MUCH THEY SHOULD CLEAN THE ROOM THE ROOM HAD A SMELL IN IT.

No frills, but clean, good sized rooms with fridge, microwave, and coffe maker. Easy on-off from I-75, Denny's right next door (walking distance), as well as gas/convenience store. Great value.
