It would be hard to find a similar property that offers space and solitude on Tilos. There is so much to love about Tilos and Stefanakis villas makes a great base to enjoy the Island. Be aware there is a very steep hill leading to the apartments but as a car is provided this does not need to be a problem if mobility is an issue. Communication with Stefanakis was dreadful. Several emails were sent prior to our trip, including through the booking page of their website. To date, a period of three months, none have been answered. They state that there is a welcome pack on arrival, there was nothing, not even water. On our arrival they did not seem ready for us. We were guided to the Villa but not shown round or how anything worked. The fridge was not working ( turned out they had not plugged it in), air con remote did not work. We were also asked to move apartments the next day. It seemed our host was in a hurry to get away, not a great impression. This said the apartment is spacious and the air con ended up being excellent. We would definitely go back but the company do need to improve their communication. The lady who cleans the apartment is delightful and does a great job.

Lovely peaceful location away from main town but still walkable. Spotlessly clean and really comfy bed and sofa area. Electric sockets dodgy, came away from wall when plugs pulled out. Basic kitchen facilities, no sharp cutting knife for example. Private patio area overlooking the sea, complementary car. Will definitely go back. Communication before was not great as could not get hold of anyone via phone or email to see how we got to the villa. Had to go through Expedia in the end , actual arrival was fine in the end just that not knowing where to go beforehand. Tilos is beautiful, so quiet and calm. Highly recommend.

Quiet and remote with beautiful views

Only stayed 2 nights, but it was great! Staff was excellent with great suggestions for beaches and restaurants. Having a car provided with rental was a must - so that was good also. Spectacular views and a quiet, well maintained villa, 5 minutes drive from town.
