Preciosa y acogedora villa a dos pasos del paseo marítimo. Perfectamente equipada y con una zona de patio y piscina inmejorable para una jornada de relax. Chris y Karen fueron dos excelentes anfitriones y una gran fuente de información para adentrarse en la belleza de la isla. La recomendamos sinceramente. es

1st Class Villa with really great hosts

We had a super welcome from our hosts (Karen & Chris) who couldn’t have been more helpful with advice.The villa is located in a quiet residential area a short walk from the beach and close to all amenities. The villa itself was immaculate, spacious, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing holiday.The pool area was spotless and well equipped with sunbeds,even a cupboard full of inflatables also the built in BBQ was a excellant feature.Chris and Karen went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. They were always available to answer any questions,Thank you, Chris and Karen, for making our stay so special. We can't wait to return! Already rebooked for 2026, Ian,Andrea,Abbey & Amber

Amazing Villa

We had a lovely stay in the villa it was home from home.The villa had everything , pool area was fab with plenty of seating , beds etc.Inside the villa was so nice and clean with plenty of space .Location is very good and could not of aske dfor a better place to stay .the welcome pack came i handy straight away as we were dying for a beer.

Fantastic Villa, perfect Location!

A really nice Villa, set in just the right location, nice and quiet urbanisation with just a short 5 mins stroll to the bars and restaurants.The Villa and pool area's were spotlessly clean! The hosts Karen & Chris were very friendly and helpful,nothing was too much trouble. All in all we had a fantastic stay,7 days seemed to just pass so quickly!Hope to return soon!shThwelcome

Wonderful place to stay

We would highly recommend a visit. The house was comfortable, clean and inviting. It had everything we needed and more. The location means you are close enough to enjoy all the amenities but in a peaceful setting. Contact and support in resort was brilliant. Thank you for a wonderful visit.

Perfect break in a lovely family home from home. We had a super welcome from our hosts who couldn’t have been more helpful with advice and tips on where to go for daily adventures.The house is located in a quiet residential area a short walk from the beach and close to allamenities.We enjoyed the pool and BBQ at the house - and spent our days exploring the island with a hire car. Highlights were the national park; César Manrique landmarks, some amazing beaches, lovely villages - especially Teguise - and just perfect weather. Highly recommended.

First class villa - we’ll be back

When we arrived Karen was there to greet us and show us round the villa. As we entered the gate we were astonished by the size of the outside area- plenty sunbeds - a table for eating outdoors and an area for relaxing. There was a large swimming pool and a built in BBQ. Inside downstairs was three large bedrooms - which were all modern and had plenty of cupboard space - the first bedroom had patio doors and opened out to the large sized swimming pool- upstairs was open plan - again with plenty room for us all - with an upstairs balcony where we often enjoyed breakfast in the morning. We could not find any fault in this villa or the service we received from the hosts - 1st class all round and on hand if we needed any help. I would highly recommend this villa to anyone with the short distance to the front -we are already planning our return -thank you once again xxx

You will not be disappointed

From the moment we arrived we were blown away with how clean the villa was and the lovely welcome pack for us in the fridge when we arrived. Karen and Chris were brilliant hosts and made us feel so welcome Great location only a short walk from the beach etc The pool area was spotless and well equipped with sunbeds, towels and even a cupboard full of floats We couldn’t fault anything and Will defo be back

Had an incredible week in the October sun. The villa is spotlessly clean, spacious & amazing outside area/pool. Its really central as well. All the facilities you would need. Karen was amazing & looked after us really well from introduction through to point of contact for any issues throughout. Highly reccomemdable

Excellent villa and location

The villa was as described, short walk from the beach and the resturants and bars. Very quiet location set back from the main road, so very quiet and relaxing. Plenty of rooms and space inside and out, the pool was lovely and all for your own use and not with others was a bonus. We have stayed in the villa twice now and will most defiantly stay again. Karen & Chris were amazing as usual, very helpful with lots of knowledge. We arrived early and K&C very kindly said that we could leave the cases at the villa, then went for lunch and villa was ready for us to move into at the check in time. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Thank you for another wonderful stay in Villa Colonia.

5 Stars Spot on !

From booking through Virbo the whole experience was a breeze. The Villa owners contacted us straight away & answered any questions we had. The Villa Colonia was excellent very clean & everything you could ever need for a relaxing holiday in Lanzarote. Special mention to Karen who met us at the Villa & gave us the guided tour. She stayed in touch with us throughout our stay & made sure we were ok, clean towels, bedding etc. Overall a fantastic holiday. Thank you Chris & Joanne myself & Angie really enjoyed our stay. I would highly recommend this Villa to anyone wanting a relaxing stay in Lanzarote, 5 Stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

A Perfect Getaway with Exceptional Hosts* We have had the pleasure of staying at villa colonia managed by Chris and Karen, and I can't say enough good things about the experience. From the moment we arrived, Chris and Karen made us feel incredibly welcome. Their warm hospitality and attention to detail truly set the tone for a fantastic stay. The villa itself was immaculate, spacious, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing holiday . The pool area was a fantastic highlight, offering a quiet spot to unwind and enjoy the sunshine. The location of villa colonia was perfect, providing a peaceful retreat while still being conveniently close to local attractions and amenities. Chris and Karen went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. They were always available to answer any questions no query to small and always responded so quickly to any questions or concerns . Their genuine care and dedication to their guests' comfort and enjoyment were evident throughout our stay. I highly recommend this villa to anyone looking for a memorable and stress-free holiday. Top locatie en Villa.

Wij hebben onze 30 jarige trouwdag met onze 2 kinderen en hun aanhang gevierd. We zijn een 1 week in de villa geweest. Het was super. Karen en Chris zijn super aardige host. Ze hebben ons veel praktische tips gegeven. Als er iets was hoefde maar een berichtje te sturen en het werd meteen opgelost. Ook fijn dat ze 2× per week het zwembad kwamen schoonmaken. We hebben genoten van het zwembad en van de villa. Het is echt een aanrader.

We were sorry to leave.

Ditto previous reviews - lovely villa in a perfect quiet position but only minutes walk to numerous bars and restaurants. Ideal if you don’t have a car. Five minute walk to Spar or 15 minute walk to large Lidl (taxi back with big shop!). In the villa, everything is kept in good order by Karen and Chris who were also helpful with directions, restaurant recommendations and taxi booking. Thank you! That said, they don’t intrude on your holiday but are easily contactable if needed. It was nice to have the balcony on the first floor as you get partial sea and mountain views which you’d miss on the ground floor.

Amazing

Just back from our 4 week stay and Villa Colonia was just as advertised. It is in a great location, 10 mins from the strip and close to several supermarkets. The Villa was clean and had everything you could possibly need. The coin operated air con was cheap to run and fans supplied for other rooms without air con.The pool area was just perfect for our family and the inflatables supplied kept my son happy in the pool. Chris and Karen were on hand to deal with any queries and the welcome pack on arrival was much appreciated. The only negative I have is that only 1 key is supplied with the villa and we felt 2 would have been useful especially if there was a bigger group staying. All in all we loved our stay and would not hesitate to return.

Another Amazing Stay!

This was our second visit to the Villa and we are already planning our third stay. The villa is exactly as it is in the listing - clean, spacious and in an excellent location. The pool is perfect, especially for young children. The communication throughout the booking, check in and during the stay was excellent. We can’t wait to return.

Wonderful property, great location, helpful and friendly hosts

We loved our stay in Puerto Del Carmen - my husband and I, mother in law and our daughter aged 3.5. Villa was clean, very well equipped and comfortable. I am 6 months pregnant and still found the bed really comfy! Accessibility wise it was good for us and we really liked the layout, maybe consider checking with the hosts if you have people in your party who may struggle with stairs or toddlers who might climb up on things due to living area being upstairs and bedrooms downstairs. There are bath/shower rooms and toilet on both floors though so still workable. The location for us was spot on. Quiet residential street just a 10 min walk in one direction to lovely beach, main 'strip' with plenty to do. Spar 5 mins walk. Lidl approx 12 mins. We walked 25 mins to Puerto Del Carmen Old Town as usually prefer an old town but we preferred our location and were glad we stayed this side. When walking there are some quite steep hills so again just be mindful for anyone with mobility issues. We stayed at the villa in March and paid extra to have the pool heated - this meant our little girl was in it every day with us growing in confidence she has just learnt to swim so watched her like a hawk (pool is deep but helpfully there were steps she could rest on). Lots of inflatables for pool provided - no need to buy or bring any! Had excellent comms with Karen and Chris - lovely hospitality. Thank you for a wonderful stay - cannot fault and highly recommend!

Geweldig!

Geweldig! Het boeken ging makkelijk en bij vragen vooraf reageerde Chris erg snel. We arriveerden vroeg, maar konden gelijk in de villa. De beheerders Karen en Chris gaven ons het gevoel dat we zeer welkom waren. We konden hen álle vragen stellen en bij problemen, de kookplaat brandde door en daardoor viel de stroom gedeeltelijk belden we Karen en Chris stond binnen 10 minuten bij de villa om Het probleem op te lossen. De villa is compleet uitgerust, het zwembad was heerlijk verwarmd tot 28 graden. Als ik dan iets moet noemen wat ontbrak aan de inventaris is het een broodmes en bierglazen. Het strand en de strip liggen op 10 minuten lopen van de villa. Kortom wij hebben enorm genoten!

This is a very nice Villa in a great location, close to the sea front, bars, restaurants and a good selection of nearby options for grocery shopping. Clean and tidy. All 5/10 mins walk, very slight hill on return, but certainly not close to being considered steep. A small welcome pack was much appreciated and the support from Karen & Chris with any "maintenance" was excellent. Comfortable beds and plenty of storage space. Good communication before, during and after the booking. The not quite perfect 5 0ut of 5 is because: A great choice of Uk TV, Sports, Movies etc with a large screen, but this is located in the elevated dining room and not the lounge area (though it can be seen from the lounge,but looks like a small TV when sat far away on the comfy seats. The air con (pay as you go) costs seemed expensive for the lounge/ compared to the bedroom air con (you got a lot more time for your Euro using the bedroom air con, even though on the same setting as the lounge) No facility/option to store cases with the early check out - we had an evening flight on departure, so the last day became an inconvenience, lugging suit cases around. Good sets of towels but 10 days without a change felt to long.We regrettably had some noisey neighbours, absolutely completely out of the control of the hosts, it was one of those unlucky moments for us. Would I recommend staying in this Villa - absolutely (just try and find a new wall for the telly 😉 and think of a plan for helping with luggage.)
