The St Regis Tianjin Hotel

Great Location, Great Facility, Great Service

We stayed at this hotel for only one night during the Chinese New Year holiday. The location of the hotel is right next to a pedestrian only shopping street and across the street to a posh shopping mall, Riverside 66. The beautiful thing is, right in the mall, there is a Starbucks, a Blue Frog, and a Charme Hong Kong restaurant next to each other, all my favorites. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The first room we got was on a non smoking floor but the room had a strong cigarette smell when we walked in and we asked for a different room. They did not argue or try to persuade us not doing so and gave us anther room when we returened at night.

Holiday Inn Tianjin Riverside

Holiday Inn TianjinRiverside

I was there with 2 friends from May 19 to 22. It is a new hotel and the pool is not fully done yet so we could not spend time there. Ther fitness room is open but did not want to go as the surrounding was still messy and full of grit and dirt. The room is spacious and comfortable. We had to change room becuase of the blocked toilet after the second day. As it is located on the other side of the river and we had to travel by taxi for sight seeing. Having said that, the Compassion Temple is just around the corner of the hotel, and a shopping mall adjacent to it which makes up the odds. Staffs are friendly, courteous and helpful. I would consider to stay there again.

Shangri-La Hotel

Relaxing Weekend

Though we did not take advantage of all the hotel amenities, we had the most relaxing, comfortable overnight at the Shangri-La. The room was spotlessly clean, well decorated, and so comfortable that we didn't want to leave it to explore the city. Though thanks to the helpful staff, we had a wonderful time exploring the city on foot and by taxi. We would most certainly stay again

The Westin Tianjin

Fantastic Hotel in a central location

The hotel is a premium luxury hotel, and while you can certainly find a cheaper hotel to stay at in Tianjin, paying $100 a night for a room at the Westin is a steal. The lobby was enormous and grandiose upon entering. The hotel staff speaks perfect English. The rooms were clean, modern, and very comfortable. I would recommend staying here whether on a business trip or for pleasure, if you find yourself in Tianjin.
