We had a lovely room overlooking the courtyard. The room was spacious and comfortable. Ordering room service was a breeze and the food was wonderful. We had the buffet breakfast and it to lo was very good. The location was perfect. Walking distance to everything. We enjoyed the complimentary welcome cocktail at the bar across the street. I would highly recommend Hotel Krone and will definitely stay there again.

We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Krone in Thun. Our room was incredible. Very spacious with windows that opened up to beautiful views of the river. The bathroom had a wonderful soaking tub, which was such a treat after a long day of exploring. The location was perfect for walking around town, with plenty of shops and restaurants just steps away. We would happily stay here again!

Great hotel!

We loved our stay at hotel Krone, fab central location right next to the river. Close to the castle also. The staff were very welcoming and helpful :) there was shared tea, coffee and fridge facilities outside of the rooms. Would definitely stay again when visiting Thun!

The hotel staff on arrival were really nice and our room was ready before check in so that was good. Free tea and coffee on the floor (not in the room) and a shared fridge which was very useful. The hotel is within 10 mins walk of the train station and all sights are walkable within 10 mins. The only reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 was the room. It was tiny, we couldn't keep our bags out and it was really noisy in the evening from the bar downstairs and then was woken early in the morning due to the market stalls setting up at 6am!! Thicker windows would be great!
