"There are some really great things about Hotel Konvin. The hotel's restaurant and staff is wonderful - great food, great service. The shuttle TO the airport is great, though it's unusual to pay for it. What really did not work for me was the fact that the TV and multiple lamps did not work and it cost me - as a solo traveler going there without a car rental - a $45 USD taxi. That's insane. I get that things are expensive in Iceland, but to spend more to go to an "airport" hotel vs travel to and from city center is outrageous. If I do travel to Reykjavik again, I would not stay here. (OH! The walls are crazy thin. I overheard the saddest silliest shortest sex next door.)"
