This was a quick trip after a long week. The staff was so friendly and accommodating allowing me to check in a little early. The room was large spacious and very clean. I interacted with the housekeepers in the hall way. They were friendly and had great smiles, which really helped to give the place a warm feeling. The breakfast attendant and front desk were attentive and very friendly. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a friendly, warm, and exceptionally clean and comfortable place to stay in the Thomasville, GA area.
We stayed here because the hotels near FSU were either sold out or very expensive. We stayed during graduation week in the spring. It was a really nice experience. Hotel is very clean, staff is very outgoing and friendly and Thomasville is a cute little town.
Due to an unexpected and tragic death in the family we had to travel to South GA and stay for several days. All hotels in the area were full due to college graduations in the area. The staff of the Hampton went out of their way to find accommodations for us including a handicap room necessary due to recent knee surgery. The whole staff, from management to housekeeping, was the most helpful of any I have ever experienced. We will always choose Hampton when traveling to Thomasville.
This hotel has been refurbished and is much nicer than last year. The smell of adhesives is very strong but will fade in time. The staff is accommodating and friendly. The location is convenient to new and old restaurants in the area. We have stayed here for 10 years and glad to see the updates.
Stayed here for a wedding with a number of other guests. Check in was pretty easy as the room was ready upon arrival. Got to the room and was somewhat disappointed due to no dresser meaning very limited places to put your clothes and no cups in the room other than the coffee cups. Even in the breakfast area, no plastic cups, just paper coffee cups. The room was clean, it just was smaller than I am used to and I have been staying in Hampton Inns for quite some time. The breakfast was pretty standard and on Saturday Night, they must have been packed because there were more cars than parking places, this was a minor inconvenience though as you could make parking places out of open spaces. The one very bright spot about this hotel was it’s staff, they were one of the more pleasant and helpful staff of any Hampton I have stayed at. The staff saved this from less than a 3-star hotel rating. If you are staying here for one night or have little stuff, this is a good option for you in Thomasville, however; if you have a lot of stuff like you would attending a wedding, you may want to look elsewhere. It was nice, just different that what I am used to from the Hampton brand.
This Hampton has been totally renovated; and every detail, from the selection of pictures to furniture give the impression that much thought and planning went into this process. There is even a separate electrical switch for the bathroom fan. Every staff member that we interacted with were exceptional.
We generally prefer to stay in Hampton Inns when on the road; the quality of these hotels is generally very good, in my opinion. This Hampton Inn was typical; very clean, well-maintained, and a very friendly staff. I was especially impressed by the friendliness and helpfulness of the weekend front desk person--she was very kind and informative, and very willing to assist with restaurant recommendations and directions. We stayed three nights while visiting Thomasville, and we enjoyed our stay very much. If there was a negative, it was the lack of a guest laundry at the hotel.
This hotel was very clean and the staff was super helpful. It appeared that the rooms had recently been renovated and were in great condition. Everyone was courteous, friendly and kind. We would definitely stay here again.
I appreciated the friendly and courtesy staff in every interaction that I had during the two days of my stay. I can understand why the Thomasville Entertainment Foundation books its performing artists at the Hampton Inn.
Rooms were very clean and had an updated look. Had to wait a little while for someone to arrive at front desk to check me in, other than that the staff was friendly. Breakfast was a little weak, it did not look attractive but the breakfast area was clean and appealing.
