We were in Roseau on Sunday and knew it would be late returning to Fergus Falls so we decided to book a room in Thief River Falls. The hotel was clean, the room was very nice. The desk clerk Monday morning around 6;00 am was very nice and hospitable. Very nice large breakfast room. Breakfast was very good.

The issues started with reservations. At that point, I should have refused to stay at the hotel. Checkin was good for most part, but went downhill from there. Rooms while somewhat updated are small and come with ridiculously small bathrooms with poor water pressure. On our second day, we were met with no room service. No beds made, no towels exchanged, nothing. While they claim there is a restaurant in the hotel, they were not open during our stay. . Many more opportunities for a good stay at Americinn or Grandstay in town. The Grandstay is much newer and right next door. Spend your money there.

The hotel is nice and been updated. You can still tell that it was built awhile ago. The rooms are updated except the heat/cooling units. Beds are very comfortable and rooms are nice. Refrigerator, microwave, ironing board, hair dryer in room. The young man thst checked me in was wonderful as was the man that I made the reservation with. Pool and hot tub in hotel and bar with restaurant. Nice place to stay and no complaints at all!!

Checked in and staff very respectful. Went into the restaurant Ordered appetizers and wings. Created a new sauce for wings called "The Crazy Canadian". Blueberry and ghost pepper sauce mixed 50-50!!!! Awesome. Staff great. Beer excellent. Manager out of this world. Would stop here again. No question !!!!!! great job !!!

Front staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and breakfast room was big with several food choices. I don't think there was an elevator anywhere though which was inconvenient for second floor.

Nice clean place to stay- beds were comfortable. Nice and roomy breakfast area. The handicapped lifts by the pool and hot tub are what impressed me the most. I will always support businesses that support those in wheelchairs 😊. Accessibility for all is important, this business acknowledges that by having this option for these lifts by the pool!

This motel is toward the southern edge of town -- a restaurant is part of the motel (we did not eat there). It has meeting rooms, a pool, exercise rooms, and a somewhat unusual floor plan. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast buffet was better than the usual -- kept very clean and well stocked. Desk clerks were great. Recommended.

The meeting space needs some clean up but the rooms a recently redone. did not seem very busy and it was quiet. The Catering departemnt is very good the lunch provided for our group was well done. the Lady that takes care of the beverages and treats was very good and helpful the meeting rooms were ready and waitng upon my arrival over an hour early.

For the price, there is not much to complain about. The room was very comfortable. It was set up nicely and we enjoyed our stay. The staff was pleasant and allowed us to check in early because we had traveled so long. Thankful for them.

We were in town for a funeral and were able to cash in our Choice points for 2 free rooms, 1 night each. Had we paid any cash money I would have been upset, but there were a few good things, I saved the best for last. Bad: Pool was freezing, we spent less than 10 minutes in the pool and our kids were shivering. -Pool floor needs major work, lumpy and sharp in some areas. - There were hockey teams staying there and no one could keep the kids in line. After a few calls to the front desk they quit running in our hallway for a while. We made contact with the parents and they were drunk and didn't care that their kids were nocking over our toddlers in the hall. They should have been kicked out! The Good- The front desk informed the coach on how the hockey players were acting. Unfortunately the coach turned around and told the kids they were wonderful and he was very proud. - Check and was quick -Rooms were clean - Breakfast was good The Best!! - Since we traveled 9 hours for the funeral with 4 adults and 2 toddlers we wanted to spend some time with our family who lives just a few miles out of town. The gentleman working the front desk allowed us to visit our family and eat our pizzas in the breakfast room. He let us know what we were not to use and had no problem with us having the area for a couple of hours. Due to this man and his hospitality we are giving 3 starts instead of 1.
