the hotel between thessaloniki and the airport is a great location ,we recieved rooms after renovation ,absolutely nice ,clean .good size rooms comfortable beds. breakfast was realy nice ,it has a nice beach front with reclining chairs and umbrellas.after spending time in salloniki to which you can go by boat not needing a car, come back to relax on the the strech of beach, is great.
The refurbished room is perfect with a good matress and large shower. The location is convenient whether you want to visit Thessaloniki go to the airport or simply enjoy the beach. The beach itself is not tremendous but it is what we expected.
The hotel is really charming and you feel the warmth of the family hotel. Rooms are clean and nice view over the sea. The breakfast is awesome and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The restaurant is very good and you can eat outside with the view on the water. We really enjoyed this hotel. You can walk on the promenade to many restaurants. Only one remark, taking a shower is not easy in the bath tub. Bathroom update with a shower would make it perfect.
As soon as I arrived I was asked to pay the full amount for the six nights. I couldn’t even leave my luggage in the room first and have a look at the room before paying. The policy in the booking confirmation said that I could either pay at check in or check out. An amount on my card that corresponded a bit more than one night fee was blocked. (It was unblocked after I checked out.) The receptionist, a young man with glasses, was quite impolite with no smile on his face or any sign of welcome and courtesy. This made me feel awkward and suspicious as to why he demanded the full instant payment. I was quite surprised when I saw a price list on the internal door of a small fridge. I had already consumed 3 small bottles of water by then, and each bottle cost 1€. I was lucky that the room attendants stopped for some reason putting in new bottles for some reason as I would have probably spent more. Ridiculous for a 4 star hotel! The room attendants made up my room at all hours. Once after an extremely medical treatment I needed to go to the toilet but I had to wait as in my room at 3pm were the room attendants. These room attendants were quite noisy and would always leave a huge trolley right in from of my room. It was one of those stays when you pay and feel nervous because of the rubbish customer service. Frankly, my husband and I think this hotel no way could be a 4 star hotel. The only thing that I liked about this hotel is the fact that I had a quite and clean room. The breakfast was also not bad.
We were very pleased with our stay at this hotel. The room was clean and had all the facilities. The hotel is located by the sea and front rooms have a nice view of the sea and Thessaloniki. Breakfast was very good also.
Very nice hotel. I stay there every time i visit Thessaloniki. It is calm, in front of the sea with a nice view of the city of Salonica. I always looking for a front view room so i can enjoy the balcony.
We spent one night in this hotel last month. Alltogether, this was a good visit. The only issue we had was that our heeting was turning off on its own after 1 min, but we did not contact the concierge as it was not too cold anyhow. We told them in the morning, and they seemed very concerned and sorry that we did not tell them earlier so they could have addressed the issue. We did not have a booking, and arrived late in the evening, and they were still very helpfull and managed to house two families of 4 members each on short notice. Overall very friendly staff. The review gets a 4 only because of the size of the restaurant which could be a bit bigger, and the surrounding's. Not to be understood incorrectly, the hotel location is on the water, perfect view of the sea, however the sorounding area looks unrefined, a bit outdated and somewhat dirty for a lack if better word. This is not at fault of the hotel staff i am sure, as again we were very well received, but location is important. Great proximity to few nice restaurants with good food. Would come back again but only for a short stay as the last time.
The hotel was under construction but we didn't get any notice prior to booking and had to figure it our at 8 o'clock in the first morning. We made a complaint to 3 people of the hotel staff and we were assured it will be passed to the manager. Nothing changed, so it must have been approved by the management themselves. Hotels shouldn't be accepting guests at all while having construction works or at least making it clear on their page and updating their rates respectively for that time. And if this event might be limited to the low season, in the high season you will get woken up by the insanely loud air-conditioning system. Really, if you want a good rest book elsewhere, or see for yourself.
Friendly staff, nice rooms, ok breakfast, perfect location (5 meters from the seaside), great seaside view, close to the airport. Been there in winter for meetings but I can easily imagine the place is great in the summer.
It’s really nice hotel at the beachfront. Prices for the end of August were reasonable. We stayed for one week in Nereid room. Rooms are little bit small but balcony is of normal size for two persons with fantastic view of the sea, Thessaloniki and mountains. Room was clean but needs some renovation, especially bathroom. The staff is always ready to help you. In general, Perea beach is quiet place with lots of small restaurants and bars. Food and local house wine are delicious. I definitely don’t recommend back view rooms – As our flight was late night we asked for the late check out and the staff give us back view room – this kind of room really isn’t for sea holidays – no view, always sunny balcony etc. (we’ve paid 60 Euro for six hours when the price per night, as it was indicated on the hotel’s site, was 75 Euro – I think it’s not reasonable). Anyway, I definitely recommend this hotel (sea view rooms) to those who prefer quiet vacancies without rowdy night life.
