This delightful, spacious home is located in the private woods of Okara Lakes. Enjoy the tranquil waters of Lake Tekini, a non-motorized lake perfect for nature lovers and adventurers alike. Only 3.5 miles from Old Forge but with the sense of being worlds apart. This home offers all the comforts for a perfect Adirondack getaway. A great floorplan is ideal for large groups and entertaining. First floor offers a well-appointed kitchen that is centrally positioned with ease to the open living room, outside covered deck or screened in porch facing the lake. There is one bedroom and full bath on the first floor with upstairs having the additional 4 bedrooms plus another full bath. A rustic, but very comfortable feel throughout. Walk down a short, wooded pathway to the beautiful sandy beach, firepit, and be sure to do some stargazing. This is a wonderful family oriented place where lasting memories are sure to be made! No linens are provided.
The vacation home is heated and features a kitchen, 2 bathrooms, and a patio, and there's space to spread out with 5 bedrooms. Other standard amenities include a coffee maker and a dining table.

This was a great place for a family vacation. We loved swimming, kayaking and paddling, and nights around the fire. The location was ideal, a 3 minute drive to Old Forge, Thendara and all the great activities there that we enjoy.

Wonderful cabin. Quiet atmosphere on the lake. The lake has easy access for little kids. Old Forge is only a few miles away with lots to do. If you want to bike the Tobie trail is only a mile or so away where you can ride into Old Forge on a paved path. We parked at the train station to start our bike ride. The grill, gas fire pit in the screened porch and all of the TVs worked no problem. Just remember your sheets and towels. We enjoyed our stay and will be back.

We really enjoyed our stay at Puchers Place. The home was cozy and clean when we arrived. There is plenty of room and seating for up to 10 people with an incredible screened-in porch keeping the mosquitoes and deer flies at bay. The kitchen, though small has top quality cookware and dishes for plenty of folks. My very young granddaughters safely and happily played indoors and at the child friendly walk-in beach. The bunk beds are more suited for younger people, not adults for comfort level. Taking trash and recycling to the transfer station - (tag provided by the host) is a must to avoid bears breaking into trash cans on the deck. The hosts provision of kayaks, paddle boards and canoe added to the fun of the stay with the fire pit at the beach topping it off.
