The staff was very helpful but the room was run down. The airconditioner was not very cool and when we walked into the room it was almost 100 degrees and didn't cool down. We had to sleep hot. The toilet didn't flush well either.

It was ADK rustic and nice. We were comfortable and it was clean. Room was spacious. Staff was accommodating and kind. We will totally stay here again. Perfect for families with young kids or dogs.

This is an older motel Style property that is very frequently seen in the Adirondacks. Clean, large motel rooms. Very quiet and safe, balcony and outdoor furniture well-maintained. Working Ice machine, and I’ve seen ritz carton’s with inconsistent ice machines(a must have)!! None of the mid grade hotel Smell of sanitizer. Simply a well maintained, “vintage” according to my daughter, Adirondack Motel! Definitely would come back :)

Will be returning to this property. We take a vacation every year to the Adirondacks. I use to stay in the cabins but the price has skyrocketed and is no longer worth it. So this year my family and I tried out a hotel for 5 days. Glad we chose the Adirondack Lodge. Check in was super easy. The ladies at the front desk were kind and helpful our entire stay. They even kept me Updated on the buck that sleeps next to the tennis court. The rooms and property were very clean. Shower pressure was super strong. AC worked very well. Mini fridge cold and internet worked great. The pool was by far one of the cleanest I’ve swam in. The only negative I have is the beds are super super soft. Im 250 pounds, so that weight plus my wife’s weight caused the bed sink in the middle (we love to cuddle but we were practically rolling on top of each other lol). Our 2 boys 8 & 5 shared a bed and had no problem. Property is a 1 min drive into town and we didn’t experience any loud neighbors during our stay. As I stated we will def be staying again. Thanks!

The Good and The Not so Good

The Lodge was easy to locate, outside and room were very clean and well kept. We found the room to be much larger than expected. The beds were comfortable. We visited the pool once and it too was clean and well kept. Now the pillows were extremely soft, almost like a marshmallow. The was a step up into the room, which may cause some folks difficulty. The tub and toilet were in a separate room, while the sink was outside of that. All were very clean. There was no bath mat and the tub super slippery. No safety mat or grips on the tub base. I had to hang onto the shelf to maintain my balance. Room also had no fan. The air conditioner was so high up it was hard to adjust. Couldnt even see what the dials said. Now the room has a coffee pot and coffee pods. We travel with our Krureg, but the supplies including the cups were never replaced. The room was never serviced, garbage not empty for the 4 days we were there. To say the least, the two small waste baskets were over flowing. We also we never given fresh towels. Now when i registered i did initial a document, but i have no idea if it said there was no service and if we were to sit the garbage outside when we left for the day. I dont care if i dont get clean sheets everyday, but would like the trash emptied and the dirty towels picked up and replaced. If i had used the coffee service, i would have liked that replenished. I would give it 6 out of 10, knowing what i know now, i would bring my own pillows and extra trash bags.

Great spot for a quick visit to the Old Forge area. Room was clean, staff friendly, ample parking. Rooms could use some updating, but if you’re hiking, boating, snowmobiling it works great….
