It's close enough to other attractions in the area to be of value to people. It is in dire need of repair and upkeep. The bathroom was in sad shape and the toilet had not been cleaned. That impression leaves you wondering about the rest of the place. The people working the front desk were polite. I did not have interactions (or see) maintenance/cleaning staff for the three days that I was there.

Decent enough for a good nights sleep. A step back in time to 70s world charm and great history. There could definitely be some physical improvements...potholes, peeling paper, water damaged ceiling. Some work needs to be done here for sure.
Indoor pool Stains on floors in room, some exterior damage on roof juncture
The room was beautiful. It was decorated in ADK decor and we LOVED that it had a balcony because it was a nice day abd we were able to read out there. The pool was beautiful as well. We will definitely be back
Room was not good at all. Window blew open in the middle of the night and had to get a knife to try and close it as it had no crank on it. walls were a mess if I touched the bathroom walls I think they would have fallen in due to water damage. Only reason I went there was they are dog friendly. But never again.
I liked the room with the balcony off of it. Hotel was located pretty much by everything, staff was friendly and helpful when needed.
The location of the property is very good. The price for the state was also reasonable. Condition of the property is somewhat poor and cleanliness certainly not up to par. Because of the price and location we will stay again
Outside of the indoor pool area being like sauna we had a great stay.

Michael, I'm sorry you were disappointed with your stay. Yes we are an older hotel. We are in the last couple years under new ownership. We are working very hard on updates. We hope in the future you will be happy. Thank you for staying with us.
