Superb location, and personalised service. I want to commend Maxime in reception for her friendliness and professionalism despite the late hour at check-in. She had even taken the time to note in advance that a Spanish guest was going to check in, and greeted me in Spanish. Made all the difference

Love this hotel and will continue to return. Who would not want to stay where All the rich snd famous (or infamous) used to hang out. Great rooms, excellent service and such a great area of The Hague.

This hotel is the best in The Hague! This is my second time staying here and I’m booked to come back again in April 2018. The staff is great and very accommodating. The doormen are always so helpful and nice, they even remembered me from my previous visit. The hotel is centrally located, close to the city center, train station, museums and a lot of great restaurants and pubs. I would highly recommend this hotel.

We spent a wonderful Sunday afternoon having High Tea at the Hotel. The food was presented beautifully and tasted sublime. The service was very attentive and to top off a wonderful afternoon - we were given a tour of the hotel by Duty Manager Jelmer. His English was fabulous and he gave us a fascinating insight into the history of the building and the hotel. Thank you Jelmer and all the staff for making this visit so memorable.

This is a classic hotel in The Hague. Overall a good stay. The room is a tad quirky in its design (dark). The breakfast was pretty good, it’s a choice off the menu plus a decent buffet. The gym is small, but ok. Best thing about the hotel is the location. Very central and located in the classic and quaint area of town. Very charming to walk around and experience The Hague.

I stayed just for a few nights, but I had the chance to visit the bar every evening! The drinks were delicious and the service was impeccable. The bartender was communicative and very pleasant! I can only recommend the hotels signature cocktails!

We just stayed here for 2 days and left very disappointed. The service is awful...to name just a few things: Breakfast was full and there was no table available for me and no alternative offered. The front door is locked at night and noone was insight to let us out for a walk at 1am We ordered tea which came to the room without cups to drink from It was raining on and off and the hotel does not provide umbrellas..pretty standard for this level of hotel And more... We will not be staying here again

We love this hotel. However: our first room was located in the rear on the first floor. It was a fantastic room with marvelous decor and huge soaring ceiling. Unfortunately, we believe this was over a rear kitchen entrance and was on an alley with restaurants- there was a lot of very audible conversation that almost sounded as if it was in the room. It was very noisy. We were immediately and without argument relocated to a lovely room on the third floor overlooking the park. The room is very spacious, lovely bed and linens. The service at the hotel is very attentive and the historic lobby atrium is charming- a lovely site for breakfast and cocktails. The location is perfect- very near the museums- lots of restaurants and shops. We highly recommend this hotel.

Beautiful hotel in the heart of the city, with a real charm and identify. The staff will also get out of its way to make sure you have a pleasurable experience. Only downside is the breakfast: not a lot of choice (e.g. no muesli!) and overpriced, especially when compared to the Hilton's breakfast. However overall had a much more memorable experience than at the Hilton.

Superb place. Great staff, quirky decor and great comfort and centrally located (5-10 minute walk from the station). The bed was fabulous, I had a great night's sleep. Plenty of nice restaurants and bars around, should you wish to eat and drink outside the hotel. Recommend
