The hotel is right in the heart of the city. All the staff that we met were friendly, polite and helpful. Check-in and check-out was quick and efficient. Our room and bathroom were both clean and comfortable. Breakfast and Wifi were both included. A very good hotel in a very good location. We shall be using it again.
Very good hotel, located in the heart of this beautiful city, near to the Buitenhof and Mauritshuis, adjacent to the Binnenhof (Inner Court) and the Hofvijver pond. Excellent and friendly staff. Good rooms with nice breakfast.
Stayed here for 3 nights on a family trip. Chose this hotel for the location, it's a 10 min walk from The Hague Central train station. The Binnenhof, Mauritshuis, shopping streets, public transport are all within a 5 min walking radius. Grocery store & coffee shop close by. Clean and comfortable rooms, free WiFi & continental breakfast (good, but limited choice). On Sundays they offer a "lazy Sunday" late checkout (till 1900) for 25 euros. Brilliant if you have a late flight. IHG members can check out at 1400 without extra cost. If there is another hotel with such a great location in The Hague in this price class, I haven't found it yet. Will stay again!
This hotel is situated right in the heart of the city. Reception was friendly and efficient. The room was clean and comfortable and the bathroom was spotless. Bed was comfortable and there was free wifi. Continental breakfast was included in the price. Really nice place to stay.
They did not mention that there was a night club opposite my room. The bass sound comes easily into the room. Otherwise the hotel has a good standard. Nice and clean as wrote in the heading. The location is good, in walking distance from the Central Station
Stayed here for 1 night. It's located near the museum's in Hague and in a square with multiple bars and restaurants. The hotel room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom had hairdryer. The breakfast was nice but the variety was scarce, especially concerning fruit. I highly recommend staying here as the things you get are really worth the price.
The service was excellent. The hotel is right across from the Mauritshuis which has a wonderful art collection and should not be missed.Breakfasts were hearty and offered something to please every one. Additionally there is a good restaurant next door for dinner. Who could ask for anything more? I recommend this without exception.
The Holiday Inn Express is a very well kept hotel and its front desk personnel were attentive and nice at all times. I would reccommend this hotel for stays at The Hague. Facilities felt new and updated. Room was sized adequately not big nor small. Bed was confortable for a good night rest. I stayed here for a business trip 4 nights. Be aware there is no closet only a rack to hang clothes which was enough for my personal belongings. A desk if you need to work and some mini bar stock. Bathroom was small but clean. Good shower (no toiletries available only soap on a soap dispenser so bring your shampoo). Room was very quite although facing the street. The hotel offered bikes for rent, had a small bar where you could order a pizza for dinner and a small fridge with cold beverages snacks and sandwiches. Breakfast was included and very nice, good selection of pastries, ham and cheese, jams, yougurts and cereals as well a juices. The hotel is located near the Plein with many nice restaurants surrounding it. Overall enjoyed my stay and will considering staying here in future visits to The Hague.
I had a 3-night stay in this hotel for business and leisure purposes, using my rewards points. Looking from outside, I was not impressed from the external picture. However, going inside on the lobby, the entire area looked like a 5-star hotel: an impressive lobby and reception area, giving a sense of luxury. Check-in was fast. My room was on the 4th floor facing on the garden, rather of small size but beautifully decorated, equiped with flat-screen TV, a coffee machine (not usual on hotels of its category), a very good and ampious bathroom, again all creating a sense of luxury. Breakfast (included in the price of the room) was very good, also. The location of this hotel is its major advantage: really in the heart of the city, in front of Maurits Museum and within easy walking distance from Escher Museum (100 m), the Plein with a lot of restaurants and bars (just on the left of the hotel main entrance), and 5 minutes from the station of tram No 1. The only negative point of my stay was the fact that I requested a late check-out (at 14.00 instead of the usual 12.00) and they said me that this was not possible because the hotel was fully booked. However, a few minutes later, when I tried via their official website to check if there were available rooms for that day (13 Sept. 2017), I saw that rooms were available either for that day and/or for the next day! This left me a final bad feeling about their hospitality...
Avoid to visit on Saturday night. Too much noise: loud music and drunk people outside your window very late at night. We were praying for rain so we could sleep having a room at the first floor. Poor breakfast. Clean and cosy rooms.
