I booked the hotel at the last minute for my daughter who is currently studying in The Hague for a treat. We have stayed there before, so I knew she would enjoy her stay. She arrived quite late in the evening, the staff were welcoming as always and very kindly gave her an upgrade. My daughter loved the room and had an extremely comfortable stay, she called to tell me how comfortable the bed was and she wished she could stay longer. Having stayed there myself I would highly recommend this hotel.
We stayed in the hotel over the weekend. The prices for weekend nights are half a price from the week days. Hotel is close to the center of the city, great park and food court. It’s also extremely convenient that it’s a short walk to the train station. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. We were very happy with food and travel advice Volter (I hope I got the name right) gave us.
Hotel is situated next to Central Station and a pleasant 15 minute walk to the old town. Rooms are of a good size and spotlessly clean with good wifi, good shower facilities and a varied TV channel line up. Breakfast is also varied. Room included also free mini bar - one full stock up, an espresso coffee machine and the normal tea and coffee kettle. Staff were always helpful and courteous. Really there is nothing to fault and if I had to re visit the Hague this is the place where I will definitely stay.
Extremely polite and efficient front desk. We stay two or three times a year and have never been disappointed. It is extremely convenient, being located right next to Central Station, so an easy 5 minute walk. The only downside is that there is a massive development being constructed right next door in the square in front of the Station. No great issue at the moment but this could become a bit annoying when they really start building. Irrespective, we will be returning next Spring.
We stayed at the hampshire hotel for almost a week. Proximity to den Haag station is a big plus not only for the travel reasons but also to grab a sandwich or some fresh fruits at a reasonable price. The breakfast at the hotel is ok for an European restaurant. 10 mins walk to the shopping street with loads of shopping outlet options. Rooms were fairly big and well laid out. First stock in the minibar was free for use only refills to be charged. Reception staff were very efficient, although only one person with two desks when i arrived and checked out.
We have visited this hotel annually for the past three years. The reception staff are young, professional and helpful. The location is very convenient being next to Den Haag Central Station and the rooms are modern, clean and well maintained. The breakfast and evening meal is served in a very nice lounge area on the first floor overlooking the Malieveld. I really look forward to my meals as it is nice to see everyone cycling by. The price is also very competitive and you are able to get a tram from Central Station easily. We have enjoyed hiring the hotel bikes each year.
Made this our base for a tour of Dutch art galleries and it could not have been more convenient. Although very much the modern "business" hotel, it was clean, comfortable, relatively quiet with pleasant and efficient staff. Located right next to the central station, it was in an excellent spot overlooking a large park. We had a standard room, which was a little small but very well equipped. We were provided with the usual tea/coffee making facilities but with the added benefit of a fridge (so useful for fresh milk!). We didn't try the breakfast, which seemed rather expensive, choosing to go to "Foodzies" a 5 minute walk away. There are plenty of other cafes nearby. For a 4star hotel we thought it was attractively priced and would certainly use it again if we were back in The Hague.
I was in Hague for a conference and due to the unavailability of venue-adjacent hotels we were put in this one. It was by no means a downgrade, even though it takes an 18€ taxi fare to get to the congress venue (or a 20 minute tram ride). The city centre is a mere 10 minute walk away and you can get to the beach in less than 30 minutes by bike. The location is amazing. Make sure to request a room with a view of the park, there's deer and swans there. Higher floors show a nice vista all the way to the coast. Unfortunately, one side opens towards a construction site and the other to the newer hotel, but the park side, man, that is worth it. My room was on the small side, but it had everything I needed. The bed was one of the most comfortable I ever saw in a hotel (the mattress was really thick) and the bathroom was not cramped at all. The sentiment regarding the bed was shared by my colleagues who were staying at this same hotel. There was a safe, an iron and a kettle in the closet. Didn't get much chance to check out the TV though. There is a spa and a pool at the adjacent hotel, but it was not open on the weekends. Breakfast was decent as expected and there were some national pastries to enjoy. They never seemed to run out of roast beef or bacon, so props to the kitchen staff. The bar overlooks the park and the service is quick. The staff are extremely helpful, distributing city maps, booking taxis (which never seem to come on time, damn them) and helping with the luggage. A good stay with nothing to complain about.
Very nice hotel in an excellent location. Right next to the train station which is very convenient. The area is nice with a beautiful park across the street and at a 10 minutes walk from the beautiful center of The Hague. The staff were very helpful and their recommendations were great!
Great staff who are very friendly and helpful. I stayed two nights at this hotel which has a great location near the Den Haag Central Station and close to the shopping areas. I arrived late at night by train and the hotel was hard to find due to extensive building work around the station and no signs saying where it is. The rooms are nice and spacious and kept very clean, but no toiletries supplied except soap/shower dispenser and a shower cap. Fitness and wellness facilities are not in the hotel but rather in the mall surrounding the hotel and there is a charge to use them.
