Booked for xmas holidays for all the family half board, at the last minute the called me to say that they would not give us the service on xmas eve and they would change it for a lunch, costing us that night in a restaurant 400€, we said that it wasn’t convenient for us and would like a better offer due to not been our fault, after that I only got emails from the director saying that he would give us the money back and to find somewhere else, I asked to speak to him in many ocasión and would like to put a complaint, I never got a reply, I booked for a better value at the Parador hotel and went by one day to put a formal complaint, waited over 30min to be served and once again could not speak to the director. Would not recommend this place to nobody and has a very poor service. I was only treated correctly once over the phone by a young guy when I made the booking from then on it was very bad
I stayed here for a five night business trip. It is a clean, modern and very comfortable hotel. It’s in a great location. Easily accessible if traveling by car but still only a 1 minute walk from the center of the town. The hotel staff were very welcoming and friendly. The rooms were clean and the hotel in general very quiet. The breakfast was excellent with hot and cold choices and a vast array of choices. The only problem is the car parking which is quite expensive and extremely tight spaces. I would highly recommend this hotel.
Free fast WiFi. Good bathroom with shower. Mattress very good but the pillow as a long sausage was impossible to shape, a real neck breaking thing. Had to take a pain relief pill for that in the morning. Good breakfast at a charge. Location in the old city VERY good. AC and Safe.
Great situation, right by a wonderful terraced promenade overlooking the town. A comfortable, handsome room, done in what I think of as the “Hotel Modern” style – dark woods, earth tones, and chrome. Spotless throughout. Parking full, which disappointing as I’d requested it, but helpful receptionist directed me to underground car park five minutes’ walk away. Note: steep €15.60 charge for 1700-0930 stay, machine at exit takes only cash, and then only €5 and €10 notes….Cashier with card machine on 2nd floor….. I didn’t eat at the hotel, as preferred to enjoy a sunset dinner at one of the terrace restaurants Breakfast buffet average, in rather dispiriting basement. Apart from this, very much recommended for situation and comfort. Great value also, at €59 for a B&B single for one night.
Unfortunately the hotel policy is far from clear & when we arrived with our 2 larger dogs we were advised that we couldn't stay. They were very apologetic & tried to relocate us but couldn't. Spain is not dog friendly in hotels unfortunately
The Hotel is located in the city centre, easy to walk everywhere. Friendly staff, the breakfast is normal buffet type. The parking is the issue only, the hotel own parking place is always busy and very small, I never used it. The public parking is not cheap, but you can find some streets in 10 min walk distance where you can park free. My room was on the 1st floor in the level of pavement, shading by the other building wall, not bright at all - usually I stayed in the room only at the night. I recommend if you are interested in sightseeing, looking for good restaurants. Note: The train station is within 10 min. walk.
What a lovely experience, we wish we had stayed longer. The staff are charming and polite and the restaurant staff all very efficient and polite. Now for the food, we had the taster menu 33 euros the best food we have had that is typical from this region. 10/10
Very nice hotel just off the town centre. Close to the railway station and good restaurants within 100m. Food in the hotel is of a good standard and the buffet breakfast is excellent. Rooms are furnished well with a nice ambience. A little noisy outside at times but acceptable. Most major sights are within 10 minutes walk but be aware that it is not a level walk. Staff are friendly and helpful with some speaking good English. Very clean but no Spain and limited parking. Recommend the hotel and it's staff.
I haveto give this hotel 4 out of 5 but it would have been 5 star if the breakfast had been any thing approaching good. However let's concentrate on the good first. It's in a great position easy to find and only 200 yards from a secure car park. All the staff we dealt with, bar 1, were friendly and helpful. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. Bathrooms were also spacious but the sachets of shower gel were a bit 1980's. The town is great and everything was within easy walking distance. What let the hotel down was the unfriendliness of the woman in the breakfast area, the food itself and the cleanliness. There were french fries on the floor, presumably from the night before and several dirty tables that weren't cleared whilst we were there. However it was really the food and drink that was very poor for €10 per head. Orange juice from a machine that seemed to be made from powder given the scum on top and the taste. Cold scrambled egg because the lid on the warming dish was left open, not that the waitress was bothered. I've stayed in many hotels around the world but never had such awful fare. It's a shame because so much else about the hotel is really 5 star, sort it out and I'd stay there again.
The hotel is close room the centre of town. It is also close to the ring road and there is public parking about 200 mtrs away. I left the car there because the price in the hotel is over 15 euros per night. We had room 402 where the balcony is so big it's more like a terrace. There is a table with chairs and a sun lounger. It has good views. We enjoyed the breakfast of sausage, bacon and scrambled egg. There are the usual croissants and healthy options but naturally I ignored them !!
