People at this hotel were very nice and friendly. They helped arrange a taxi for me to a small city that I wished to visit The breakfast was diverse and ample. The English of the hotel representatives was very good. The rooms were clean and neat. It is a very good location for getting around and right close to the tourist information center.
Stopped here for a night, coming back from Italy. Friendly reception staff. We got the connecting rooms we asked for. The rooms were the standard Novotel rooms. The carpet had just been renovated or cleaned. I wonder if it is just an impression, or have the bathroom amenities been reduced recently in the Novotels...?
Nice hotel stayed for 5 nights on business. Comfortable & well-maintained rooms with coffee maker and fridge. May not be the cheapest hotel in town. Connectivity is bit troublesome unless you drive. You may visit the fort it's free to go right up to the top. You may enjoy food in restaurant up on fort. approximately 1km to downtown.
Stayed here for busy, rooms are clean and bed comfortable. Breakfast is good as well. Well suited for a business trip. Good size underground car park and wi-fi connection seemed ok as well. Belfort is small but the hotel is close to a few nice restaurants.
This was a stop off hotel on our way to Italy. What a stunning town Belfort is. It is a pity we were only there for one day. The hotel is very central and only a 5 minute walk from the old town and the amazing citadel. Well worth the trip. John
Really nice hotel I stayed for 4 nights on business really comfortable bed well equipped room coffee maker and fridge restoked daily nice continental breakfast not the cheapest hotel but only get what you pay for would defiantly choose this hotel again if I was ever to visit belfort again tip make sure you visit the fort it's free to go right up to the top €1 to go up to the lion €7 to visit the museum
Location: Stuck to the exhibition hall and 5 minutes from the old city center with view on the fort for some rooms. Price: Above 100 Euros during the week ascend slightly lower during the weekend. Rooms: Correct size but nothing special for an hotel in the countryside. Carpet old fashion at some floors. Same for the walls. No iron in the room, no glasses, only plastic cups.... Pillows are too thick. Parking: Large covered public parking available below the hotel for 7.5 Euro per day. Breakfast: Correct but not nothing tremendous specially for 16.5 Euro.
Have stayed here many times on business. Very reliable and consistent. Rooms are reasonably large and beds are comfortable (a relatively recent upgrade. Staff is friendly and professional. Breakfast buffet is very good, although a bit expensive. Restaurant is standard Novotel. Parking can be a bit challenging during the day. Parking garage under hotel is an ok option, although I frequently have trouble getting out of the gate with my room key.
A good solution for business stay in Belfort. Rooms are quite comfortable and well equipped. Unfortunately a flatiron is missing, but the laundry service is efficient. Breakfast is nice, but expensive and the buffet is not always refilled (expecially after 9). A small but not crowded fitness center is available for free. Parking is available but with a too high fee (7.50€ is too much in Belfort if considering you are already paying for a 4* hotel). Restaurant is good and quite cheap. Personnel is fine.
My second stay at Novotel Belfort. Rooms have been upgraded since my last visit and were to a good standard especially the bed and coffee machine. Small draft and noise came from my room window. Reception and corridors are looking very dated and tired. Fitness Centre is very basic and small. Breakfast and evening meal was very good. Staff are friendly and helpful and special mention to "Isabelle" on reception for the present she gave me for my daughter.
