Greetings Travelers! If you want to stay in a good place, clean, with great staff, this is the place! Within walking distance of the Ciudadela, quiet, and a good restaurant. Taxi’s available to get you around. Plan to spend a few days to really see the pyramids!!!! Bring clothes for all weather!
Clean room, shower ok, small and hard bed, location close to archeological site, breakfast OK, dinner quite pricy compared to other restaurants in the neighbourhood, Noisy drinkers from USA at the swimming pool kept us awake
This hotel and like many of its sister properties were once "owned" by Club Med nad they evoke that basic style. I have stayed at all these hotels and they are uniformly superb. If you want the luxuries of a 5 star hotel, this is not the place for you. If you want a great deal, comfortable and clean rooms, pool and a good restaurant and capped off by an incredible location this is the place for you. I only regret not having spent more nights here. All the members of the group felt the same way. Clearly understand why it has earned a certificate of excellence.
Me and my partner stayed here whilst visiting teotihuacan. The hotel was clean and beautiful. The staff were very helpful, friendly and accommodating. The food was very nice and there was a lot of choice. Israel was very chirpy and gave impeccable service. The pool was closed a couple of days due to maintenance but it's one of those things. The hotel is a stone's throw away from the pyramids and only about an hour from the airport. I would say that their taxi service was a little expensive compared to uber. Hotel was 1000 pesos around £40 and an uber was 350 pesos around £14. But I understand when you arrive at the airport after travelling for so long it is nice to be picked up and not have to worry about sorting out transport. Would definitely stay again.
This is only about 5 minutes from the ruins so it is a real treat not to have to deal with traffic at the end of a glorious day at the ruins. The rooms are all very clean and attractive. I believe all rooms have one double bed and a single. Meal service is sometimes slow. The bar is fun with the stools being saddles.
Excellent location for a visit to the Teotihuacan archeological site: about 300 metres from gate 1. Ideally visit by car, in which case when you enter the site at the roundabout by gate 1 turn right along the ring road and look for the bright blue buildings. If you go left you go ALL the way around the ring road which is very slow. It is close enough to walk to gate 1. You can eat at the hotel but if you have a car you have more choice of restaurants. Food was adequate but this area is not for fine dining. The flan was overcooked and shrivelled. We stayed in early February and it was very cold at night - the rooms had no heating but provided plenty of blankets. Shower was good and hot. No coffee/tea maker or fridge in room. There is an ATM in the archeological site gate 1 main building. Wifi was free but only available in hotel lobby.
My experience here was a bit unpleasant. I was given a room that was open and not cleaned (bathroom had not been cleaned and bad smell). I would have expected them to apologize and give me another room, which would seem normal, instead they said they were going to clean it while I was inside.. didn’t feel safe nor could sleep the whole night.. was a bit cold and the heaters don’t really work!
All rooms have two beds whether you need it or not. Thus not always making a good use of the space available. Overall clean rooms and common spaces. Good location for the ruins, but not exactly in a happening area. The restaurant is decent. The staff is great, especially Victoria from sales. If you need something the front desk can’t get you, she probably can. She has been there forever and is a very knowledgeable and well connected lady.
excellent location, close the site great service, very pleasant and responsive good food, we had dinner and great breakfast nice pool, relaxing after a day on the road small rooms and small bathroom enjoy
This hotel is just out side of the archaeological site of Teotihuacan. You can walk to closest gate in about 10 minutes. The rooms are small and spartan, but adequate. The on-site restaurant is adequate and the staff accommodating. The downside of this accommodation is not adequately heated. This includes the rooms and restaurant. The upside is you can start your visit to the ruins before the tour busses from México City begin to arrive.
