From arrival on October 3, 2019 till departure, unfortunately just the day after, we enjoyed our stay in this wonderful house with clean and beautiful furnished rooms! Mekki welcomed us very pleasantly and just served tea in the library. He took his time and we had a very interesting conversation with a lot of interesting information about Morocco and his house. We decided not to move formward to Agadir this evening, stayed in the house, enjoyed the very nice garden and had a delicious dinner, served by his friendly personnel. As this was the last night of our trip to Morocco, we regretted having not the ability to stay longer. Thank you Mekki for your hospitality and I'm sure that we come back any time. All the best for your further plans with Villa du Souss!

One of the most magical places we've ever visited. The place is a haven, simple yet sophisticated.. filled with beautiful creations in every corner. Very spacious and clean rooms, each room is uniquely designed and decorated. Down stairs is an open space with several sitting areas, there are also two huge living rooms/ areas available upstairs. Food is delicious, varied traditional meals, made with love from home grown and freshly picked fruit veg and herbs. We couldn't have asked for friendlier staff, who always went the extra mile including the owner, he was always around ensuring we were having a wonderful and comfortable stay. The peacefulness from dusk till dawn is beyond description.. from the wonderful morning breeze and the singing birds..the soft sound of the water feature and the traditional and smooth music during the day ..to the the tranquil summer nights.. Our children absolutely loved the place too. Free wifi is available.. fast and reliable. Although beautiful as is.. there are plans for more renovations. We can't thank everyone at Villa Du Sousse enough for their amazing hospitality.. we highly recommend this place and we can't wait to return

Believe me when I tell you, that this awesome placd will be a lot more expensive in the future. The owner, a very nice guy and speaking French and Englisch perfectly, is renovating the whole place and it already looks gorgeous. The rooms are spacious and nicely furnished. The dining hall is something I haven't seen before in my 10 days in this country - all the art plays so well together and even though rich colours are used every so often it doesn't look cheap but rather like one big masterpiece. Don't even get me started on the dinner :) I can highly recommend this one!

We arrived at Villa du Souss, finding it pretty easy to find from the airport its about 15 min to the Beautiful old Marocan Villa. With maps.me it is offline easy to find. The entrance is beautiful. It has an 1,5 hectare garden with lemon trees, orange trees, herbs and fresh grown veggies. The atmosphere is relaxed and nice and quiet. Mekki welcomed us as soon as we parked the car. He showed us the room, and the team served us some amazing local tea and home made biscuits. We felt home the moment we walked into the Villa. It has a really nice decoration. The bed is comfortable and the room is a good size room to stay for a couple of nights. We regret only staying for one night. Homemade tea, fresh orange juice, the food is really nice. Good choices, vegetarian aswell and plenty! We would reccommend this Villa to anyone. Enjoy and relax. Either stay for 1 night or longer, to see the area and get back in a comfortable home. Thank you Mekki and your team for the nice welcome to Marokko.

One of those special places that make travel so exciting: mainly looking for a convenient location to stay before having to leave Morocco from Agadir airport, we happened to find this real gem! It feels like an oriental castle and is set in the middle of a beautiful garden full of flowers, orange trees and palm trees. The rooms are really cozy and authentic and we kept discovering more and more "living rooms" like the library or the downstairs sitting area. Curious to know more about the history of this carefully designed house, we found out that it was created and owned by host Mekki's father and he now tries to keep the place alive with a new purpose as guesthouse. And what a nice host he is! Speaks excellent english and was most helpful in any kind of way providing good advice how to arrange our rental car return, explaining the history of the house and introducing us to the delicious food served. We highly recommend ordering home cooked dinner (at least 2 hours in advance) - also as there is not really anything else nearby... Good wifi, comfortable beds, nice staff - all of this added to the great experience we had! Thank you Mekki and best of luck for your plans! Ideally you would need your own transport if you stay here for a few days to be able to explore the area (for example going into the mountains to the Paradise Valley). Better arrive before sunset as it is not really so obvious where you need to go - just use a GPS map, be confident and follow the unpaved road a few hundred meters from the main road and you'll see the name on the wall enclosing the property... The only regrets we have is that we could not stay for one more night and that this marked the end of our first trip to Morocco - we hope it will not be our last!

The Palace and the room were beautiful. The garden is amazing and the owner is working to make it better. Here we had also the best tajine of Morocco. The story of the palace is touching and we are happy we could meet the owner.

A bit difficult to get through because the Google Maps position is not the correct one and we ignored the e-mail the owner sent us previously with the correct location.Once arrived we discovered not only a Villa but a small luxurious palace, with a wonderfully well preserved garden and welcoming, friendly staff.

We chose this unique, pleasant and tasteful villa for a single night. We planned this in advance; we wanted to stay close to the airport our last night in Morocco. If we had more time, we would definitly stay longer. We had unfortunaly only time for dinner but it was superb.

We booked to stay here for one night after a late arrival at Agadir airport as it’s very close by. We were made very welcome by the owner Mekky who carried all our bags up to a spacious bedroom with balcony and bathroom down some stairs. The decoration and tiles were bright and Moroccan style with view over the organic gardens and fruit trees. Breakfast was excellent and fresh. We were made to feel at home and would have loved to stay longer.

I stayed here just for one night before a Yoga retreat elsewhere in Agadir. From the minute the taxi pulled into the grounds and we were greeted by the owner and shown around, I was completely blown away by this beautiful place and its breathtaking gardens and all the attention to detail in every corner. My huge room was one od the nicest Ive ever stayed in with a huge bathroom too! Clean, colourful and just magical! What a wonderful home! The food was incredible as was the service. I loved the gardens with all the flora and fauna and it was just blissful to lay in the sun in the green green meadow, dotted with flowers. Thank you so much for all your hospitality! I will definitely visit you next time Im there!
