Staff were friendly and the hotel was modern, clean and well maintained. It was disappointing there was no air conditioning in the room as it was warm, it a fan was provided. It wasn’t clear about how to keep the window open to cool the air, I only found a latch the next morning. The bed was way too hard and the pillow was also too stiff so I didn’t get a good night sleep. I was grateful for the tea and biscuit in the room. The bar area was great but it was a shame there was no background music, this could have helped soften the atmosphere as there was a lot of people staying on their own so it didn’t feel comfortable to stay too long.

Generally looking tired now and house staff ignored issue with no shower gel in the dispenser. No staff to drop some to the room so I had to dress again and go to reception to collect it. Restaurant quality and quality very good.

Mid week break

Really enjoyed our stay, our friends had a room also I had e.mailed the hotel and asked if we could be close to each other and they e.mailed back to say they had allocated two rooms near each other. Our rooms were clean and had everything we needed including hairdryer , ironing board and iron . Would definitely stay again if we were in the area .

Great place to stay that's not too far a walk from the station. Only let down was no air con - they do have a fan though. Friendly staff, nice bar. Food is pricey but convenient and good quality.

A great hotel in a perfect location.

This lovely hotel is perfectly located; it is a short drive from Blists Hill Victorian Town and the Ironbridge attractions. Highly recommended. Telford town centre with plenty of nice restaurants and great shopping is just a few minutes away. The air museum at RAF Cosford is only ten miles away. Remember to bring your swimwear for the hotel pool! Highly recommended. 😊
